SWINE VALLEY 2A/3A CONFERENCE WEEK 7

Great game tonight at Tommy Sloan Stadium. Hats off to a very good JK team. The last 5 minutes was a thriller. Pick 6 by JK, TD drive by Midway, onside recovered by Midway with 50 seconds left and a pass into the endzone on the last play of the game that was ruled out of bounds.

Transfers are the biggest problem in our area. For small schools the loss of one outstanding athlete could turn a 8-2 year to a 2-8 years.

SWINE VALLEY 2A/3A CONFERENCE WEEK 5

Princeton has got to be the best 2-3 team in the state. Mcphatter is a great back and is going to get his, unless he gets injured. He began cramping bad in the 3rd quarter and took some vicious hits that sent him out of the game for a couple of plays a couple of different times in the second...

Midway 27 - SJ 12. Midway had too many drive killing penalties in the second half which kept them from scoring more, but they get the job done on the road against a quick and aggressive SJ team. Midway's defense impressive against the passing attack of the Trojans.

Midway 46 Lakewood 28. Lakewood came out ready and fired up, ran the opening kickoff back for a TD. Raiders couldn't complete a pass in the first half - two dropped TD's. The Raider run game was just too much in the end. Wesley Tew with 160 yards rushing.

SWINE VALLEY 2A/3A CONFERENCE WEEK 3

I would say Midway is 3 dimensional, good running game and passing game, plus you have to account for the QB. Defense is getting better week to week. I'm not sure about where the Raiders are in the East, The Raiders and their opponents are the only teams that I have seen play, except for the...

I feel sorry for Goldsboro, 146 - 0 in two games, sheesh. Maybe they can get on the board this week. Clinton/Wallace will be one to watch. Good luck to everyone and stay injury free.

53 carries and 7 catches for a kid that is 5'11 160. It's going to be hard for him to stay healthy at that rate. This kid is legit, but he will get hammered again in this league.
