    UNL Husker Board

The point is that Nebraska has never relied on Texas. Nobody was hurt more from the move to the Big 8 to the Big 12 than Nebraska was. There are some definite reasons for that, but an inability to recruit Texas wasn't one. Nebraska has never significantly recruited Texas. When they tried, at...

    UNL Husker Board

This is a common misconception. There's plenty of reasons the Huskers are not the team they were in the 90's, but lack of Texas players isn't one of them. From '97 - 2010 (the Big 12 years) Nebraska had 51 recruits from Texas, an average of 3.64 per year. From 2011 - 2017 (the Big Ten)...

    UNL injuries

    Maybe the Big 10

    The key to beating Nebraska

As a Husker fan, I can tell you that the key to beating Nebraska is by forcing turnovers, keeping Armstrong in the pocket, and a strong passing game. Good luck trying to get big plays running the ball.

I usually root for the Big Ten... but payback's a ***** on the Hail Mary

Well...it WAS a win. A lucky win, not necessarily a "good" win, but a win nevertheless. By your criteria, BYU should consider themselves the "loser" of their game against the Huskers. Wow, Nebraska is 1-0...who'd of known?
