I think the better way to say what you're saying is..LAST NIGHT Wisconsin was the better team but UK is still the best team in College Basketball this season overall..38-1, man..38-1. And Wisconsin should be thanking the dear Lord that the NCAA Tournament isn't a best of 7 format like the NBA...
I want a damn badass shooting Doron Lamb, Brandon Knight, and Darius Miller shooting type team. I'm not saying UK couldn't shoot this season..but I just really miss great great shooters like them. James Young was a pretty damn good shooter as well.

I'm not trying to be a "downer" here..and we certainly may win #9 next year..but I and a ton of other UK fans said exactly what you just said in your post (about next season's UK team) about this season's UK team after UK lost to UCONN in the National Title game last season..and we ended up not...
People are undermining or just flat out forgetting just how important and huge it would have been to have Poythress for this game and even earlier games in the season that UK barely squeaked out. Just his EXPERIENCE alone would have been huge, look at how great he played in last season's NCAA...

So, officials can and do look at the monitors at anytime and determine whether a player made a two or three during a play..and they can do so whenever during the game and even take off or add points from a team's score after finding out BUT they can't determine whether or not there was a shot...
