Auburn loses four starting seniors after next season. They will be rough imo.

Scrubb is suppose to have been a UK fan growing up. He comes here if Cal wants him.

But Cal doesn't care about getting in-state players, so he's probably going to UofL.

Well I'd say that changed by the gear he wears almost daily but who knows

I think he cares. He has stated in the past that he likes the idea if a kid can play. He has taken several in state kids that normally would not have gotten an offer. Willis, Hood, Hawkins, and Allen are all examples of kids that probably would not have gotten offers from us had they not been from the state. While I dont think its a big concern, I do think it matters some to him.

Cal needs to offer Scrubb. If some one put 4-5 stars behind his name and sent video to Cal he would probably offer. I don’t think Scrubb has been to camps so he probably won’t get much look.

Let me rephrase that: Cal wants the best talent and won't prioritize a kid just because he is from Kentucky.

I can go along with that explanation much better than your first choice of words that so many took offense to. I think Cal has interest in Kentucky kids but they have to be kids he feels can contribute in time and feels they are willing to wait their time. Allen seems like a very talented kid who might contribute sooner if he is physically able to go.

I've tried to tread gently on this topic....the kid is from my area, I've watched him since the 5th grade. He's not good enough to come in here and get meaningful playing time over the typical Cal recruit, and he's not the kind of kid who would be content to sit and watch. If he came, my best guess is he wouldn't play a whole lot, and he'd leave in a year or two. Good kid by all accounts.

Some kids don't want to sign up for what this would be. Hollingsworth, Bolden, Tandy, etc. Probably best for both parties in those situations.

Why does Auburn want him? Didn’t they just knock us out of Final Four... more athletes and non shooters.

This isn't over - kid will blow up this year.UK will offer but he may stick - I'm sure having the ultimate green light at Auburn is enticing - Bruce lets his kids play through mistakes

"Bruce lets his kids play through mistakes" is an understatement. Seems like he only ever pulls his guys out for rest.
