Juzang gave his verbal during his in home with Cal Friday. Should be announced tmmrw or a few days after his campus visit. He will be reclassifying. Wasn't supposed to post anything until an announcement was set but tmmrw seems most probable. UK will have plenty of wings next year and I'm happy to have a long team once again as Cal usually gets them to play great D early.

He’s a massive upgrade over Baker. This is the exact reason I didn’t join in on the collective freak out that occurred here when Baker announced his transfer. It opened up a roster spot for someone better. He was a fine player but not up to the standard at Kentucky—at least next year anyway. He may have reached that point his junior or senior year. I’d rather take the gamble on Juzang.

Why wait until all the public momentum today if someone connected to the recruitment is giving you information and he committed during the in-home last week? It just happened to leak to you the same time we all found out?

Baker not up to UK standard? I don't know about all that. The kid could play. It was basically his freshman season this year and still started the season out hurt and way behind the rest of the guys. Played his way into the lineup and produced. He the exact type of player that we need to stick around multiple years and provide us with a lot their junior or senior year. I couldn't disagree with you more about Baker. Hope Juzang can live up to your expectations.

Ive been waiting on this commit. I heard from my buddy that this was highly likely (Monday). He really doesn’t have direct ties to Cals staff now, but was once tied to it pretty closely. He told me he thought this was a very good possibility.

I can be happy he's likely going to be a Cat and still think you're pretending for attention. Which is why this needed its own thread, right?

Why'd you tell us about Hagans a month early? What happened to letting him have his moment?

Totally agreed. I get frustrated with Cal's roster turnover....but most of the time he gets talented kids to get into his 8 man rotation.

All we need is to keep EJ/Nick and get a banger to compliment them....and there is this Blackshear guy that we are on.

I love the news but why completely steal the kids moment? Could've easily said this in a discreet manor and let the kid have his moment. Just curious.

For a guy who smokes the positive vibe calumet with the best of them, I'm wondering why you decided to go all in on the negative slant in this thread and question the OP's integrity?

The OP has been nothing but civil. Who cares where he got his info or when he decided to post it. I'll take any good news and happily accept it six ways to Sunday.

Not sure why you guys want to bash RR? Calling into question why he didn't drop his info earlier seems nitpicky. Those of you thinking he's just shooting from the hip since momentum seems to be with UK could have beat him to the punch and made this call yourself.
