-first trip to rupp this year. Great seats. Nice to witness a beat down.

-pj was great. Herro did well. If hagans can hit open jumpers like he did today this team will be special.

-all that said, KJ was the player of the game for me. 17 boards in a division one game is *ridiculous*...he stepped up bigly. Established a tone early.

Nice of Pearl to give Cal a recruiting plug about players getting a lot better coming here in the Postgame Presser.
He praised the program so much you can tell he’s still in complete awe!!

Just finished watching the game. Man, I love how Keldon looked today. He's the only guy projected lotto but instead of looking to get his he stepped up and did the other things in Reid's absent. 17 boards, WHAT? It's obvious Cal has convinced him to buy into team first.

Herro's defense is no longer an albatross, dude is balling on the D end

Hagans knocking down the 19'8" shot consistently is a game changer (how about set the puppies a foot back, but whateves)

How good are we defensively? 2015 good? Gonna be a game in the Dance when we need our D (shut up, Doc) to get us through and every talking Head is praising how Cal has us firing on all cylinders on that end of the court.

Not a team in the country I would take over us right now. Put us in any Region, as any seed, and lets dance

-made gnocci w/meat sauce last night. Gnocci is the *perfect* use of leftover mashed potatoes.

-prima has a presentation today at Newport aquarium...third step of the interview process for an internship this summer. She's made it further than most so no disappointment if she doesn't get it but t'would be a sweet experience for her and nice on college applications. Just received a text "Your daughter killed it!". Fingers crossed.

-while mrs. Rudd is handling that, i took segunda to assist me with head Deacon responsibilities at the 11pm service this morning. Old school "high" church can be boring for kids...she enjoyed helping with headcount/offering/communion duty. Kept her busy and I got her to church with minimal middle school kid whining.

-on the couch snuggling up with buster the wonder beagle to watch a bit of manly television. Nice.

So Nashville could be in serious flooding trouble. That’s a picture of Wolf Creek Dam holding back Lake Cumberland, the flood gates are opened wider than they ever have been and the lake is less than 10 feet away from going over the spillways and being uncontrollable.

Can only imagine the fecal coliform levels of the Cumberland River with all those Eastern Kentucky sewers and septic systems spewing forth like crazy
