When did honesty become trolling?

Also, the mods can't actually "permaban" someone as you call it. They can easily create another account in about 5 seconds. [winking]
Honesty my *** lol. You’re only here to be a sh** starter ie troll. And it sounds like you just outed yourself right there on being banned. I’ve taken dumps with a higher iq than you.

Says the pretty clear troll doing nothing but trying to antagonize. I actually appreciate the attempt as I will from this point on disregard your moronic drivel.

So you did me a favor. Appreciate it brotha.

Please continue fighting the good fight arguing a call that everyone else acknowledges was BS. The rest of us will move on now without you.

As much as I have loved UK sports and sports in general I am just about done with it all. Crooked officiating and crooked NCAA policing has really ruined the game. We watched UT handed a game at Vandy. Memorial of course has often been the sight of epic screw jobs for the Cats.

And he pulls his hand out well before the balls in the basket. Meaning it wasn't goaltending. Montgomery can take the basket net down, use them to floss his teeth, play cats cradle and then put them back for all anyone else cares as long as he's done making contact before the ball touches the basket.

yet he pulls the rim down a bit making the goal shake....ever think that affected the way the ball bounced on the rim?

The ball was definitely in the cylinder. At first, I thought that was legal, but of course my good friends here let me know I was wrong. :)

I just don't see it that way. Clearly we all have to have the group-think herd mentality here.

Then of course, there is this we just want to sweep under the rug.

a play
Thread. Tons of ****** calls, misses on both sides, and either team can complain. But at the end of the day, THAT play affected the outcome. Not a missed call from 17 minutes into the first half. That missed call to give LSU a score that they didnt deserve did us in.

a play in the first have is just as important as a play in the final seconds. if they can review plays at the end, then they need to review plays all game long as a bad call in the first half could be the difference in a win or loss just as much as the final play of the game.

Not goaltending according to former NCAA official who posted last night. Ball was not on the backboard or goal yet, and EJ's hand did not move the rim and cause a violation. But clearly LSU did commit a goaltend. Sad that it happens, but seems to a lot of UK.

Check the rule book...it’s section 15 1&2.

This is ONLY a goaltend of the ball hits the backboard, is on the cylinder, or touching the rim. The ball was 2 feet from the rim and before it even hits the backboard in the game, EJ’s and PJ’s hands are clear of the net.

Sticking your hand through the basket while a shot is in the air is goal-tending. And I am not sure how you can say he isn't having an impact on the rim as his damn wrist is through the net and pressed against it. You think he is so arrow dynamic and skilled that he just pulls his arms down without ever touching the net or the rim? [eyeroll]

It's off and outside the rim. I just can't in good faith say otherwise. It was a fair putback. We blew it.
Yeah not responding to Bluebowski because he's clearly trolling but for others who are still having doubts just turn it around and think if it was a defender who touched it instead of an offensive guy woudl it be goal tending. The answer is of course because part of the a bal is still over the cylinder extended. And it doesn't matter if its clearly on its way out or not nobody can touch it until it clears that area completely. It really is that simple, not a hard rule.

[pfftt] You can't stick your hand through the net and bump the rim, pull the net or knock the rim with your hand sticking out of the top. That's goal tending plain as day. You all are delusional. o_O

So your not responding by replying? :)

If we would have been blocking out, we could have rebounded the ball without it ever being goal tending. It was off the rim, outside the cylinder.

Well, that big round orange thing that mounts on the big piece of glass that the players are trying to put the ball through, that is called the rim. The space above it and inside of it are called the cylinder. When the ball isn't in that area, it is outside of the cylinder.
Then you are brain dead stupid if you can look at the photos and say that a portion of the basketball isn't within the area of cylinder above the rim when the LSU player tipped it in. No question you are nothing but a troll, because nobody can be as stupid as you pretend to be.

Some guy from Blue Ribbon Yearbook was on the Tom Leach show and he said he thinks it was out of the cylinder. Basing it on a camera angle from the other end of the court. Brilliant. Just ignore the obviously better view directly over the rim looking down, where it is obvious to anyone with eyes it was in the cylinder.

No, I think you tried to change the subject and I didn't bite.
How did I try to change the subject? You're calling one a goal tending and the other one not. I am just pointing out the ignorance and hypocrisy.

The, "That is "hypothetical" phrase, was a joke from the direct quote the SEC gave Kyle Tucker regarding the issue.

So again, I say

'Traveling out of the cylinder' is different than 'still above the cylinder '. The ball was mostly still over when he touched it, period. And then to take a 15 second review over a game deciding basketball when a common foul review takes 10 min???

It's changing the subject because one has nothing to do with the other. Whether or not there was defensive interference has nothing to do with whether there was also offensive interference. Trying to use one to discount the other, is a tactic of people who have no facts to support what they are saying.

I'm not using one to blame the other. I am pointing out your ignorance and blatant hypocrisy discerning between the two. :joy: Jesus Christ. How are you not understanding this?

Again, how is that changing the subject, when they are literally the same subject? o_O

Nice straw man, but how are you doing that when I haven't commented on the defensive play?

Well, that would be the hypocrisy, no? You literally just answered it yourself and still don't understand.

No, because the answer to the question about the one play is not dependent on the answer to the question about the other play. I'm talking about the offensive interference play. Whether it was, or was not, offensive interference has nothing to do with whether the prior play was defensive goal tending. They are two separate plays and they do not depend on each other to form an accurate determination of each play.

Ohh, Lord, this is really getting embarrassing. No one is saying they are dependent on the other. One could have easily occurred without the other. No argument there. The ignorance and hypocrisy is you're completely over looking one in favor of complaining over the one that fits your argument that we were somehow screwed. That is hypocrisy plain and simple. If it had been called fair, the first one would have been goal-tending and points to LSU.

Can you please point out where anyone indicated they were dependent on each other or how you formulated that conclusion? I am very interested to hear this.

Our guys had plenty of time to get in front of the guy and took a charge. They just watched him drive to the basket and reacted to late.

It was definitely goaltending but that isn't what lost us the game. LSU was just the better team last night. Hit shots when they needed to and out hustled us.

I know we needed PJ to make baskets toward the end but someone else needed to make one or two also. Oh well, we lose and hopefully we learn and keep getting better.

According to Matt and Drew on KSR this morning, when the refs huddled, Greene said goaltending, but the other two disagreed. And then after the review, Lindsay said "we blew it".
