Seems like a pretty shrewd move by Tyra. I don't hear any calls for his job for not getting Brohm. That guy gets it.

Say what you want about Jurich, but if he was the AD at Louisville, Brohm would be the coach. He never missed on the guy they wanted like this. Tyra seems to me like a guy who's shooting from the hip and in over his head.
Give Tyra basically an unlimited slush fund with zero check and balances and carte blanche to allow his coaches to use any means necessary to recruit with no regards for NCAA rules.

Just saying, Jurich was playing with a stacked deck for years.

If Quade Green is our starting point guard, we are screwed. He's an ok player. He's about like the 5'10 kid Cal had at Memphis who was always the back up to Derrick Rose, Tyreke Evans, etc. I thought his name was Antonio Anderson but apparently I misremembered.

Regardless, that kid (like Quade) was pretty good but was never going to be great. A steady hand at point guard for four years is awesome but isn't the same as winning.

But if Quickley or (ugh) Hagans can't beat out Quade, our season is junk.

Bet he released that top button, if only for a brief 20 seconds, before nervously, eyes searching the room and fumbling fingers, buttoning it back with an exhale of ultimate relief.

Nobody saw it.

I’m not sure how anyone can categorize Georgia Tech as a good job. It’s an inner city, academic first STEM school with no facilities that’s light years behind its bigger in state “rival.”

Oh, and half your team was recruited specifically to run the triple option. Blocking receivers, undersized lineman, running QBs.....so it will literally take YEARS to rebuild that program if you want to run a different offense.

Great gig other than that, though.

They don't have to beat Georgia every week. They just need to be better than Louisville, Wake Forest, UNC, NC State, maybe Virginia Tech or Virginia or Pitt.

What I'm saying is that the ACC is easier than the SEC.

Yep. He kept posting W... Y... T... K...

Which meant Brandan Wright, Thaddeus Young, Deon Thompson, and Willie Kemp.

Went in hard on that prediction and ended up 0-4.
I don't miss Greg Hoover. But this reminded me of him.

How long until John has the Legion of Doom and the Super Friends duking it out?

-To be fair he put out 3 tweets about burning the school down, all pretty easily recognized as jokes, but not something to really joke about. I got 10 hours for drinking a beer at 18 so he'll be fine with whatever he gets, it won't be a felony.

-Alright, time to sit down, pour a brown water and enjoy watching RMK's legacy get pissed all over. I'm really going to enjoy this one.

-Today G told his teacher, hussy wearing a UL shirt, that Cardinals eat their own Pee. She told me and I responded, "yeah we don't like Cardinals in our house."

Let's go to the store buddy, pick out anything you want.

He looks like a Thor.
He looks like a thumb.

* This 30 for 30 on Bob Knight is fantastic, but this director/narrator is going full modern journalist by how much he's making himself part of the story. I know you did good, diligent work, but pump the brakes just a tad.

Knight's attempts to derail and slander Neil Reed after the transfer makes me appreciate the way John handles it when it happens to him. Obviously you'd prefer that nobody ever transfer, but when it's gone down at Kentucky over the last 10 years, it's almost always been on good terms, which is rare in the transfer environment in the game today.

Myles Brand parlayed getting stepped on and pushed over by Bob Knight for years and years as Indiana president into being the president of the NCAA. Jealous of that ability to fall uphill.

We’ve had some coaches we aren’t proud of thankfully none of them kissed their adult son on the mouth in front of the whole state
