*The best thing we have going for us this week is that UofL’s entire team and staff gave up on the year weeks ago. And I really don’t see those guys giving two ***** about the rivalry.

*We need to start buying houses, cars, whatever it takes. This is the golden age of cheating. Let it f*cking rip.

No kidding. And I also want 1980's SMU level cheating for our football program. Give me an SEC East Title in the next couple years, even if it means shutting us down in the mid-2020's. That's future Wayne Dougan's problem anyway.

A small part of me hopes we whiff on true bigs this year and Cal is forced to change his approach. However, he’ll likely get 3 star D’Poop Turdlee and force the offense to run through him next year.

Looking forward to seeing how “too cool for school” Cal spins losing Wiseman, a kid they spent three years recruiting and obviously really really wanted.

“Kentucky’s not for everybody.”

“This isn’t easy. It’s HARD.”

“I like my team.”

“I’m fine. We’re fine. It’s fine.”

Don't worry junior Richard's will only be marginally bad.

Good to see Tubby is still screwing us over in recruiting.

The problem with Cal’s current recruiting isn’t only that he isn’t getting top 5 elite guys, it’s that the 10-30 range guys he is getting are leaving after their freshman and sophomore years when they have no business doing so. I’m all for encouraging guys to leave if they have a first round guarantee, but if you’re going to recruit this way you need to be getting your second rounders and undraftables back through their senior years.

You want to reach your dreams? Wait in line like everyone else.

My aunt and uncle bowed out of hosting Thanksgiving a few years ago and their “in-town” son took over. But, that family declined this year and it was kind of in limbo for a bit...

Then, their other son’s family invited them up to Boston for Thanksgiving and my uncle turned around an email blast inviting us all to my aunt and uncles’ for Thanksgiving.

My cousin’s wife (in Boston) is a terrible cook and my aunts are all awesome, obvs. Pretty baller move by my uncle, IMO. Missing the traditonal butterhorns aren’t worth seeing those two grandkids (+ travel). Easy call.
Read this 5 times now and still confused.

- A proper sweet tater casserole is a top 3 side dish. Green bean and sausage casseroles are up there also.

- Anybody bashing Sister Shubert rolls is a dimwit.

Joey has an aunt, an uncle, and two cousins (their children). One cousin lives close by, the other lives far away. The local cousin assumed Thanksgiving duties from Joey's aunt and uncle several years ago, but declined to do it this year. Joey's other cousin, who lives far away, offered to host everyone instead. Joey's uncle, a true family man, recognizes the shittiness of the primary cook in that household, and decided to intervene and take over so that everyone can eat good food.

At least I think that's what the post was about... I spent way too much time deciphering it too.

Kevin Knox is currently being labeled a bust by NYC media...

Kid. Is. 19.

Telling would-be sophomores to ‘grab the money while you can’ is one strategy that Cal may want to rethink. Knox could’ve developed his game against decent competition with a supportive media beat...

Instead he’s openly demonstrating his game is raw, his defense and motor are non-existent ...all under the soul-crushing pressure of the **** NY press wanting to relive greatness from 1973.

He needed about 6-7 more consecutive WVU games to get under his belt to prove he’s ready for the jump.

You picked the wrong player. If a kid can legit go lotto then he needs to go to the draft. 100% of the time. Losing guys like Matthews, Johnson, Humphries, Briscoe are way worse than Knox.

I’ll never understand the reasoning that guys can develop their games at one level of competition but not the other.

Makes zero sense.

I get the argument that basketball as a full-time job >>> basketball as a "student-athlete", but I still think you develop better by playing in competition rather than just practicing and sitting on the end of a bench, playing in garbage time. Plus, the better you play at a place like Kentucky = better exposure to scouts, better endorsement potential, etc. The time value of money logic for a kid going pro ASAP fails to take into account a lot of subjective factors that vary from kid to kid and year to year. For some kids, with a deeper draft class waiting on them if they come back and competition coming in that would likely cut into their minutes, it probably makes sense to go and take a 2nd round shot/go overseas. When the opposite is true, those kids need to come back, bet on themselves, and try to play their way into the first round/lottery/whatever. If Cal's going to continue to land these fringe five-stars, he has to do a much better job on selling his guys on the latter option.

- Being an above average college player at a high D1 school guarantees that you will get tons of reps and a stable environment for 4 years

- Being an average to below average NBA player means that you get sit on the bench, run with second teams, high chance of being moved around, etc.

If you're always going to be a below average NBA guy, but you have a chance to cash in on your first contract, then go for it. If you are a player that is a rotation guy currently, but have the foundation to be something better in a couple of years, honing your skills in a more forgiving environment isn't the worst option.

Moral High Horse John Calipari is easily my least favorite John Calipari.

Let's get back to Disrespected John Calipari or "Burn Your Village" John Calipari, ASAP.
That guy hasnt existed in a long time.

Now all the sudden he is going to condescendingly act like he's missed out on everyone lately because other schools must be shady? K, that's cute. If we dont start getting some studs again, there's no way we get that pre-season crown and go all the way to the second weekend of the tourney.

What I say to everybody is, 'Kentucky will eat first. Whatever the rules are, we will eat first' so it really doesn't matter," Calipari said.

So it's essentially the same amount of time you can work on your own game in college and pro, and one you get in-game competitive experience on national TV every single game, and the other you get to practice and then sit in really great seats during the games.

Appreciate your help in making my point, PTI.
