Duke is good but their performance against UK was fools gold. UK played so awful in every aspect of the game that it really created a false impression about Duke. UK us not very good "right now". We'll be fine by March.
They play HARD & scrappy. They have a "want to". Our team is still to entitled right now to play that way.
People saying Duke missing shots they made against UK.... they have 50 points in the first half. That's considered elite!

Duke will dominate this game in the 2nd half. Zion is getting what he wants but won't when the opponent has an athletic big to guard him. What is happening with ZW is the same thing that happened after our game on Tuesday. People are saying ZW is LJ. He isn't. He has a chance to be a fantastic pro but it take much more than athleticism and a superhuman ability to dunk. Fans of his need to give him a break.

Against UK in the first half UK could not get a stop because Duke hit every shot they put up. That's what I'm saying. If Duke would've missed some shots & we could've made some half time score would've been closer & we would not have seen some of UK's gutts just quit.

Not sure they played so much out of their mind as much as we played horrific. Combo of them wanting more and us just not ready. Duke is not the greatest team ever as some are making them out to be. Moses didn’t part the Red Sea as wide as our defense parted.
I'm accepting what happened last Tuesday as an anomaly. Duke just played completely out of their minds. We were shell shocked and quit when things went from bad to worse. Those guys are great players no doubt, but once our boys learn to compete and fight for 40 minutes we'll be fine. All the pressure is on Duke now like it was for us in 2015.
The sooner everyone realizes Duke played their A+ game against us the sooner the sting of the loss will hurt less. We shouldn't have played as poorly as we did, but Duke was out of their minds. They are beatable and I'm confident come tournament time they will not want a rematch with us.
The first part is funny. Is EJ an athletic big? PJ? Nick? Name a athletic big who is a very good defender in college?? Then name one who is as athletic, quick and strong as Zion? There is no big in college that can guard him period

Oh, I know they're not. Threads being started on here that they would play our 1996 team even in a 7 game series is an absolute JOKE!!!! That 1996 UK team would curb stomp this duke team and every other duke team in their history.

Duke depends on freshmen even though they are NBA ready talents. Today doesn’t surprise me at all. They were jacked and ready to play Tuesday. They thought they would beat Army by showing up. They are still one hell of a team.
You are going to feel very foolish in 5 months (and 5 years) if you re-read this comment or even remember you had such a ridiculous thought that Zion is better than Lebron James. My guess is you will forget all about it. There is a reason that Lebron was dubbed The King in HS and Zion wasn't even the #1 recruit. You don't need anyone as big as Zion to shut him down. He is not a post player. Just put an athetic 6'7" guy on him and cut down his driving. Also, make him work on defense. The more I think about your post, the more I am laughing.

No team has come within 20 points so far. I think they'll be fine if one has an off game.
Teams need to continue to put pressure on Duke and not let them play freely to put them in the ground
