Supposedly Karem asked MilqueToast for the athletics department to at a very minimum help promote the film and it fell on deaf ears. Seems like an abolsute no brainer but then again we have a total boob as our Athletic Director. *******.

The good news is that Freddie Maggard is making the entire team watch a screening of the film.

Hump Day Shotes:

-Just now *almost* back to normal after what's become my new shitshow weekend of the year. Hosted 8 people at the crib all weekend, and entertained about 30 more as the designated party house. Lotta golf, booze, food, and general shenanigans until 2am both nights. No clue how Sloot does that every weekend during the Fall, but props [thumb2]

Now, I get to enjoy 1 day of 'rest' and do it all over again this weekend at the Eli. :raised_hands:

-ACH is awesome. The bills are what they are, and we get them all out of the way on the 3rd & 17th. Unless you're having income troubles, I don't see the advantage of not having it. I actually get annoyed when the rare bill comes along that doesn't offer it.

-I've said for over a year now I didn't think Wiseman was the typical #1 recruit kinda guy -- seems like many are starting to agree. I'd love to have him, but it's not world-ending if we don't. The entire class is pretty weak, and we're sitting good with most of the consensus best players, and already have one in the fold.

The Costco mixed nuts are incredible, staple in our household: #ExtraFancy

Never been disappointed in a Kirkland product, tbh.

-When it comes to mass produced/commercial Bloody Mary Mix, it's Zing Zang or GTFO. It's not even close.

-Nice to see LeBron finally get some unanimous praise for *something*. Not sure it's even possible to have a more spotless career than he's had given the position he's been in since he was a teenager - I'll never understand the venom towards that guy.

-A week from being *really* ready for Fall I think, but still haven't given :football: much thought yet. Guessing that switch will be flipped in the coming weeks. #Gambol

R.I.P. Urban Meyer:

Brett McMurphy: Text messages I have obtained, an exclusive interview with the victim and other information I have learned shows Ohio State coach Urban Meyer knew in 2015 of domestic abuse allegations against a member of his coaching staff.

ACH is awesome until you have a dispute. I've run into a couple situations recently that have made me realize how little leverage I have when the people have already taken the money and how fundamentally stupid it actually is. HERE IT IS ACCOUNT AND ROUTING # ANYTIME JUST GO FOR IT THANKS FOR NOT BOTHERING ME.

Must be a poor, I guess.

If Kirk Cameron were in it, Meetch would've been all over it.

Several years ago some people we know were going through a rough patch (i.e. banging other people who were not their spouse). They watched this movie and suddenly they were inspired to love again (not each other apparently).

They raved and raved about how inspirational it was and we had to watch it etc... I reluctantly agreed, and just as I 100% knew, it was the worst pile of **** in movie history. I was embarrassed to be watching it, and embarrassed for them that they were so captivated by it.

Of course, those friends got divorced very soon after they vehemently endorsed this piece of ****. And they are both much happier now.

Maybe you all should read your statements, which come well in advance of any ACH (and also have the upcoming ACH amount on them).

I GOT MY BEOW TODAY FROM MY BANK AND YALL TOOK OUT $130 LAST MONTH IT WAS ONLY $126.

Yep, your rate increased slightly on your renewal. We sent 3 notices of that, none of which you read or even opened. Enjoy!

Sincerely,

Me 5x per day.

Meaty Shorts:

- Most undermentioned ****** part of getting older is your friends’ parents (and God forbid, your own) start passing away. Funeral last Sunday.

- Always thought Elam was just a big Bily Bob fan?

- August is okay as a bridge month as long as the weather goes mild.

That said, it’s a no-doubt Top 5 Month for college students.

- Crazy week at work thus far. Not mad tho.

- Give me Whitney and Maxey and let’s get it.

- The Office gets better and better with nostalgia, reminding me of my life in my 20s and earlier gigs in my career.

I think that Urban Meyer is a bag but he didn't commit domestic abuse.

401K contributions are going nicely, PTI. I'm a college educated professional just as you are ICYMI. Degree is in finance, actually.

-This isn't related to increases. Termination of services and continued deductions. Thanks, though. And I review my KFB policies with my agent annually in his office...

Wasn't targeting you, more speaking on what Chase alluded to. It's uncanny.

-The only ACH I refuse is a gym. Pretty sure I have lifetime memberships to Powerhouse, Gold's, and a host of others. You aren't allowed to cancel.

As I routinely tell my wife, fellow employees, etc. - people can't f***ing read. Emails, texts, books, whatever - there is a 99% chance that if you try to communicate something via the written word, a chunk of the message will be completely missed or ignored.

-the checkerboard was used perfectly, initially, on the waistband of the 2010~2014 shorts. Those were some of my favorite threads the Cats have ever worn.

-Moved to J-Town recently with two buddies from HS. The new place is dope. Decent sized backyard, huge deck surrounding an above-ground pool (w/basketball hoop). We have been throwing down, baby. Can't beat playing a game of HORSE in the pool while hammering some ice cold domestos. Literally have had a pool party every Saturday since I moved in. Pretty incredible place for three single 24 year olds to have tbh.

-Has Zion Williamson ever attempted a jump shot? I only ever see highlights of him dunking.

-Dark Tourism on Netflix is really bizarre. The guy who hosts the show is great though.

-C'mon football :football::uzi:

Enjoy your Wednesday

He was 19 and committed an armed robbery and other smaller crimes. AR was an inside job where with an employee of where it took place but they ended up ratting on him and took a plea. He chose jury and list. 14 years.

He had another year added two years ago when he and another inmate got into a stabbing fight. Dude almost died but ended up saying he started it. Brother took a plea deal of another year.

Shew...I can already see hes overwhelmed. Everything I take for granted is new to him. He has two kids so hopefully he will walk the straight and narrow.

Oh...internet porn will be his BFF as soon as he gets a phone. He asked if the strip clubs were open last night. Hes READY.

You didn't mention taking him to eat some non-prison food...figured that would be the first order of business. Curious what he wanted.

UK ignored those players and their historical relevance for nearly 50 years.

Now they are finally being recognized and we have a tone def AD who has a great opportunity from a pr standpoint teed up to promote yet won’t.

All he has to is endorse the film, have some intern blast out some tweets/FB stuff and show up at the film to celebrate what these men accomplished all while being on the receiving end of some good will.

Nope. He can’t do that because there are many things he just doesn’t get. He flat out sucks when it comes to booster and alumni relations.

White Castle.

He also wanted to get drunk. Talked him out of that one for a day. He's in the perfect spot for a single dude. Living with my Dad's old girlfriend in the Highands.

He will be up on his feet soon. Dude is an awesome artist and was the go-to person for tats in prison....which is what hes wanting to do.

- Hope your brother does well Bernie.

- This Urban Meyer situation seems to be snowballing. Sounding like the media is aligning against him. Very real chance he will be fired. Good!!

 that Meyer is fired, Stoops is hired to replace him (lol), and then Meyer is immediately available and hired by the Cats because he's turned over a new leaf and/or caddied for his daughter a few rounds.

Typically, as long as the lynch-mob gang gets their man fired from one position, he's almost immediately eligible for redemption tour status at another almost equally lucrative position.
