Matt Bevin could've saved himself a lot of grief if he had followed through on his planned visit to the Dominoes Club in Prospect.
Because people treat the right to do something as a reason to do something.
I tuned out of pretty much all social media and all local media recently, so I had not heard of any of these stories.

Maybe the coolest thing about soccer, that falls in-line w/ continuous play, is that it starts IMMEDIATELY. Like, this 2pm kickoff (or whatever), the credits roll from the previous show, the screen switches, and the ref is setting the ball down at midfield.

Once you cross over that Jessamine County line, it changes a person imo. This woman was probably going on an innocent leisurely drive, saw the boot store, and turned into a crazy hilljack. That's jmo
I just don't see how money damages are part of this. Unless it's a blatant publicity stunt / shakedown for a nuisance payment on very thin, very speculative allegations of monetary damages. Which, I guess it is.
But what does a win look like? Anything short of the banner coming back is a big loss, because that's the entire stated point of the suit. And that will not happen. So they have set this up for complete failure.
And Morgan is working on contingency, so for him, the most economically sensible thing to do is cut a quick money settlement and bail, so they don't have to put any more resources into the suit. Yet that doesn't bring the banner back.

The press conference had a Morgan and Morgan banner behind them. We've seen a lot of these law suit PCs over the past few years and I don't think I've ever seen that. Great free advertising in Louisville.

I’m not advocating saying it, but it should not be national news when the word is said in the manner that Papa John said it. The context matters - but that logic seems to have escaped people and it’s time to push back on that.
