Why come back if the scouts tell him he will be a 1st round draft pick. I wouldn't be surprised if PJ plays so well that he slides up to the top 15. His versatility will be a big plus at the next level.

What skills does he have that are NBA worthy? Can't draft him on potential because he's a tweener without elite athleticism, the upside isn't huge. He's Dray Green without the passing, jump shot and without elite defensive skills.

A little hint. I have heard pj is gone ... just my imo but I feel quite certain as of this moment he is gone. As with a guard on our team , hearing he's moving on as well. A 6'7" PF that only scores posting up, has limited ball handling skills, a mediocre jumper and can't make FT's when fouled.

P Pat was MILES ahead of PJ and he came back to improve in those areas and it has kept him in the NBA. PJ needs to do the same.

I can't see any way he's taken in the first round of this loaded draft, he has decent upside, not great. I think he's risking not getting drafted at all. I really hope he comes to his senses, there a huge gap between this years draft and next years, it seems like such a no brainer.

I would say your correct . theres a reason he's not listed high in the draft and also neither id Homi. both should return but I think one will go anyway no matter where they sit in the draft .

For everyone saying that PJ isn't an elite athlete he tested out with a 43.5 max vertical......pretty sure that's very elite.
NBA is a shooters league now. PJ has no mid-range game or 3pt shot. Plus his FT shooting is poor as well. He needs to come back and work on his game.
With those declaring already, it is hard to imagine PJ would be in the first round. For instance, the big German kid at Michigan, he was great in the tourney so wouldn't you pick him before PJ? That kid has a number of offensive moves, could shoot from the outside, drive the ball, quick, physical and yet I read he is considered a "late" first round pick. So how would PJ jump ahead of him? PJ could get there but certainly isn't anywhere near that skilled in comparison yet. Similar to Diallo, work on shooting, defending, and other fundamentals would seem to make sense. PJ also had a similar Diallo tendency to pass to the other team in kick-outs.
