* Do you remember where you were and what you were doing 20 years ago today?

* Trump & Biden are both crazy old men. Everything is so dumb.

* The line is still just UK -5½. I'm completely unable to objectively assess point spreads on Kentucky games, and I know anything can happen, and I know KSU likes to grind it out, but man that seems like easy money. Ideally a K State player would've talked trash, but that didn't happen, so hopefully Cal's disdain for Bruce Weber will be enough to result in a runaway.

* UK has won 8 straight Sweet 16 games. Tubby won his last two (2003 and 2005) and Cal is 6-0.

* Western. Good for the state.

* 12 hours. Gonna be a long day.

Me neither. But the Buffalo line was also -5½, and I thought that was ridiculous. Who knows. I don't know. Nobody knows.

It's pretty remarkable the father held that guy down until the cops came.

I mean, if he shoots that intruder holding a knife, that case doesn't even go to trial does it?

Kentucky +105 to win South on my book. :eyes:

-Sharps clearly on KState, as the line has dropped a full point despite 70% of Public being on the Cats. I don't see it, but that's what's going on in Vegas if you're into those types of things.

Not really sure why Crazy Joe’s first option is violence. Seems like a bully.

DT drops him like a bad habit.

I just don't get it. Maybe I'll be proven wrong tonight. Is it just a matter of them betting against the public? "The masses are asses" and all that?

Still 10+ hours to tip - but this is the last BS post-9 pm weeknight game of the year.

(Unless we're playing on the first Monday in April. But those don't really bother me, LOL).

Tell you what... I will not be pulling for the failure of many teams like I will be for Memphis these next couple years. Bringing in an AAU hero and Larry Brown fresh off his latest scandal to try and "lock down Memphis"...

If he doesnt close Wiseman and get Jeffries to flip-- would be nice to see that experiment blow up in their stupid barbecue faces.

Thanks to the Herald Leader for the anxiety caused by, "BREAKING: Kentucky player leaves practice, rips coaches on social media, says he's stepping away from team." Could have easily dropped a "football" in there and saved me the click. Dicks.
Surprisingly a kid who transfers for fighting with coaches isn't exactly a nose to the grindstone type.

Could SGA be having a 2011 Kemba Walker run?

Here is a look at the numbers:
Final 3 games of Big East Tourney:
Kemba Walker: 78 points, 13 assists......avg 26PPG, 4.3 APG
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: 63 points, 20 assists.... avg 21 PPG, 6.66 APG

First 2 rounds of NCAA:
Kemba Walker: 51 points, 17 assists...avg 25.5 PPG, 8.5 APG
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: 46 points, 13 assists...avg 23 PPG, 6.5 APG

Overall 5 games:
Kemba Walker: 129 points, 30 assists...avg 25.8 PPG, 6 APG
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: 109 points, 33 assists....avg 21.8 PPG, 6.6 APG

His numbers are not that far off. I think he has the potential to continue his hot streak and keep this run alive.

Ultimately, it's still Gambol. Pros lose games all the time:

Haslametrics Score Prediction: 68-66 UK
Sportsline Pro Score Prediction: 71-68 UK
Kenpom Score Prediction: 71-67 UK
Sagarin Score Prediction: Cats by 7

Would assume most all metrics have something similar to say, but people only like those when they support their own opinion. #CatsBy90 :sunglasses:

While I think we'll cover, the line as it stands isn't crazy by any stretch.

Sure. Just pointing out the facts/why for all the people that are like WTF WHY IS THE LINE 5-6 IT SHOULD BE 15???

I'm betting on kate. (line just dropped another .5, btw)

-Btw, If you love Kentucky but don't wanna risk the ML, you can bet an Open Teaser getting the Cats -1, & then leaving the 2nd slot "open" for our game Saturday, or any other game you like the rest of the way.

When taking in ALL season, sure that’s probably accurate.

But with a young surging Calipari squad, what we did in February let alone December, doesn’t mean ****.

Love every talking head taking Cal’s annual post-bracket ESPN interview completely seriously.

I mean, Cal didn't really SAY we got screwed - he just said that everyone was blowing up his phone saying we got screwed again.

Big difference. He was just reporting what other people had said to him.

He wasn't really SAYIN'. He was just sayin'.

I tend not to put a ton of stock in those advanced metrics forecasts, because I assume they put as much weight on UK's results in December/January/February as they do UK's results in March. How Kentucky played against Davidson & Buffalo last week and how they played in St. Louis the week before has a lot more bearing on how they'll play tonight as opposed to how they played at South Carolina and Missouri several weeks ago. (If that's incorrect, then disregard.)

Love every talking head taking Cal’s annual post-bracket ESPN interview completely seriously.

Turns out, majoring in journalism doesn't make you smarter than everybody else. (Though it does make you morally superior to everybody else.)
