Honestly I can't remember the last time a bracket has opened up for us like it has this year.

UT was disappointing, but they’ll be back. Should be loaded next year.

He’s a good coach. Up in the air if he’s great. He seriously does need to prove SOME tournament success. He’s the best UT could hope for though, that’s for sure.

Tennessee had a great year, and they'll be solid again next season, sure.
But it's worth noting that Barnes has won a total of one postseason tournament of any sort in his 30 years as a head coach (Big East - 1993-94 with Providence). He does have a FF, though.
Barnes did *not* make it to the championship game. Texas lost to Melo and Syracuse in the semifinal.

Second, Wisconsin basketball fans are purely fair-weather.
Third, they're not in the tournament (OR EVEN THE NIT), so their fans wouldn't be out watching them anyway.
