I think that times have changed. People are more about looking on their phonescreens rather than interacting with other people. The continual attack on athletics, scandal and identity politics make the common Joe less likely to leave their bubbles in fear of offending someone, being offended, or God forbid, being shot. Fear and terror is everywhere now. Before as a society we wouldn't let it affect us. But within the past two years, you can be accosted for wearing a hat, be called a murderer for how you feel about guns or birth control. The way there media is constantly trying to divide people based on belief system, religious affiliation, economic status, and morality. Continual attacks on government and family. Before you know it, we lose all of our freedoms. Easier to conquer a divided foe. Sorry for the rant. Started typing and well you know.
