guys on the outside looking in at the ESPN desk saying UK needs to play fast, score fast, get up shots, play a smaller lineup, create turnovers...

ALL BECAUSE THEY CAN'T SHOOT OR SCORE IN THE HALF COURT.

They see it. This board sees it. Why doesn't Cal see it.

Team can't score. Push the pace and get out and go.

you know, I have largely ignored those who have said it before, but I do think these refs are holding a grudge against UK fans. Diallo gets clocked, no call, no body contact at the other end, foul on us.

Well, if we suck at it, then isn't it good we don't shoot more of them. It's like the old joke, "Have you tried that new restaurant? The food is terrible. Yeah, and such small portions".

Turnovers are the story this game.

UK - 8 turnovers
AU - 1 turnover

We also only got an offensive rebound on just 19% of our opportunities. We aren't ever going to be great at shooting so our offense will have to come from our shear volume of attempts at shots. Limit turnovers, grab offensive rebounds, and then get more chances to score. That's our path to victory.

It probably feels like we're way down because we were only up 2 when auburn was 1-17. They started hitting and now can't really miss, besides layups apparently.

No doubt, our guys are getting mugged and we tap them and it’s a foul. Not why we are losing but damn can we atleast get an even whistle?

Unfortunately, that’s a lot of work. I don’t think our guys want to work that hard.

Our guys are really playing hard though. Yes, they're making mistakes, but at least they're playing hard.
Our offense though, damn it seems like it's based on every man for himself properties. No flow at all.
Hopefully Knox Continues to be hot in the 2nd half.

Minus 20 from FT line and 3 pt impossible to overcome

Auburn took 17 theees and 14 FT in a half they got a great whistle

The NCAA will put Auburn in Duke's NCAA tourney division because they will have no one who can defend Bagley.

I agree with many that we are lucky to only be down 6 at halftime. I also agree that it's time for Diallo to show us something in the second half. Other than Knox, we have no one who can shoot an outside shot. Auburn is willing to put up a lot of 3's and we are afraid to. Instead, to many on the team try to drive way too far away from the basket and you just about count on the ball being turned over when they do that.
