Favotire- John Wall and Cliff Hawkins. Wall was a freak athlete and the first PG that I've seen play for UK that you could throw lobs to. His defense was solid, too. Hawkins was all heart, gotta respect that.

Least Favorite - Bogans, only because he's the most overrated player in UK history. Seems like every week someone talks about how great he was. I thought he was decent, but not great by any means. And he had always had a mole that was extra long you could see clearly in interviews. Looked like a black noodle. Cut dat crap off.
I'm a little butt hurt by your post...

Favorite: PPatt

Least Favorite: Sheray Thomas. Not really his fault that he was terrible. But it is what it is.

I've got a friend that still screams "Sheraaay for Perry!" every time he sees me, because that's what I would scream sarcastically at my TV when I was younger during the games. Still makes me laugh thinking about it. I just hated that combination and all I could do was joke and laugh.

I remember us playing, I'm almost positive it was against LSU. We were down one, and took a timeout. We inbound the ball, and set up a play for Sheray F'n Thomas of all people. He proceeded to airball the jump shot and we lost. Thinking about it still makes me shake my head.

Favorite-So many, but I’ll go with Tyler Ulis. The kid was such a gamer and straight up bulldog. Uggh....I can’t leave this favorite topic without Tony Delk.
Least favorite-Richie Farmer. LOVED Richie. Childhood hero. My parents are from Clay County so I grew up idolizing Farmer. Turned into an arrogant, fraudulent, embezzling human being.

While the guy I chose was white, I chose him not based on the color of his skin but the content of his character. Felt fitting for today.

Favorite would be either Briscoe or Orton. Both great competitors and ambassadors for the program. Least favorite is a tie between Davis and MKG. Neither seemed to have that “it” factor, and the team went to an NIT as soon as they left. They left us empty handed.

My least favorite Cat is still going to be like a 6/10 at worst. I don't recall much before Tubby's final few years, so can;t comment on old days..

That said, it might be Poythress, which is probably a hot-take opinion. I just got tired of watching a complacent player after his Sophomore year. More often than not, he would let me down in games. If he were just a better leader in 2016 and more productive in 2014.. what might have been.

Favorites: Kyle Macy (transferred to KY to win an NCAA championship/my favorite point guard) and Anthony Davis (greatest to ever play at UK)

Once a player wears the Wildcat Blue uniform, he is a member of the Wildcat family.

Favorite: Willie Cauley-Stein
Least Favorite: One of Mark Coury, Briscoe, or Orton.

Nothing personal against Coury -- I just couldn't believe someone like him was starting any games at a program like Kentucky. He was a big reason I didn't believe in BCG very early on and I took a lot out on him. I also didn't like Jon Hood or Ryan Harrow much, but they're nowhere near those three.

Favorite: Chuck Hayes - Nowhere near the best, but was as tough as they come.
Least Favorite: Josh Carrier - Mr. Basketball turned human dud. When not playing, he was one of the greatest shooters in UK history.

Never thought a guy who finished 4th all time in scoring at UK and was the SEC POY (only the 10th in UK history at the time) could be considered overrated.
All time scoring means he wasn't good enough to go pro, but good enough to start for multiple years....."the worst of the best" if you will. SEC player of the year, especially in those days, was comical.

Bogans overrated.

I have now heard all I need to hear in life to know I'm nowhere near the dumbest person walking.
Thats right, overrated. Reading some of you stroke kings you'd think the guy put on a show. Drafted 43rd...so i wasn't the only one who thought he was overrated. Scored a career high of 29 points in the decade he was here. Couldn't play defense for chit....career high for blocks? 1.

Because that's what Bogans was recruited to be. A shot blocker.

And he was such a good leader....all those SEC wins are impressive.

A 6'5 guard that doesn't play defense and led UK in some of its most boring unsuccessful years. He sure did prove me wrong by his lengthy NBA career. Yeah, we need more of those.
