If you actually go back and look at those, they were actually pretty bad *** aside from the denim. And honestly I think it's not even that bad of a "denim". I've got an original unused. With the shoes brand new. Not a bad looking jersey at all. Severely under appreciated.
Why Mitch has us looking like clowns I'll never know. After what we wear in football, no one should ever make fun of Indiana.
The claw mark ones back in the 90’s (I forget exactly which year) were pretty god awful.
Now those, maybe. But I grew up wearing them and nothing says UK to me like a few long triangles triangling down the legs.
I'm interested in the product in the uniform. Not the uniform. Same goes for the shoes.
Let's go crazy and have them all wear hoodie jersey.

Eh, I don't agree. The way you look is a very important part. Look at traditional SEC football programs, they look the part.
In basketball, Kansas and Dukes uniforms blow ours away. There's no reason for UK to not have the traditional and classic looking uniform every year. If it's our thing to change them up, we should at least have an alternate that resembles a classic uniform that looks good. We have had terrible uniforms in both sports basically since 2006ish.
They're better than those skirts they wore when Jodie Meeks and John Wall played.

I like the more classic look we wore circa 2002-2003. With the simple Kentucky across the chest. Ditch the checkerboard. That's UTish.

Old yearbooks. Man, Kentucky football and basketball had the pimpest sht through the 70's/80's and 90's.
It's like nowadays Nike tells Barnhart they want to play with the "so ugly
It's hot" look and then some 23 year old Nike fashion designer who's a Duke or Kansas fan gets high and laughs all the way through drawing it up.
Eh...to be honest uniform acceptance is 100% public opinion and I gave mine. It's not really a debatable subject because you're not going to convince me otherwise...so

I love the light silver/grey unis from a couple years ago. But those should only be worn once a year. I'd like to see a return to a classic solid blue with white kentucky across the chest. Or change it up and have solid blue with a larger UK across the front. I don't ever want to see the return of the black unis though. I know they were for a very special occasion but I hate the black out unis.
