A month after we moved in, our neighbor lady was nice enough to warn us that someone was trying to break into their basement door one morning. This was around 7:30am on a weekday, on a fairly active street, with cars in driveways, and lots of walkers/joggers about - BLATANT.
That night, we got the IRIS system from Lowe's with aims of fully home automation. Later that week it was confirmed (by our neighbor's husband) that the robber was actually a raccoon (whom struck again).
After walking out the door without disarming the system for the twentieth time and sprinting back inside to stop the blaring, I turned off the alarm for a while. But, it was helpful in determining how long our dog walker was actually out walking the dog.
Summation: Would buy again to catch lying dog walkers in the future.
