Yes, but after Matt said that he was convincing him, Drew made sure to say that it's not a situation where he already knows it's a done deal, but said he is very confident. Whatever that means.
Franklin said his source said the person who told Matt that wouldn't even have a clue or any info on Bamba.
To be fair to Jones, he said one of his sources made him not as confident about Bamba, not that we weren't getting him. Hate on him and his show all you want (he annoys the heck out of me at times), but at least be fair.
With that said, I sure as hell hope Drew is right as we need Bamba in a very bad way for next year.
Maybe Jones and his people will make better politicians than I thought,they are pretty good at talking out of both sides of their mouth already

Lol, I usually sit these out but people using fake or altered facts to whine and complain about anything just gets to me. I happened to be listening to the actual statement on radio and had to laugh when I saw what it had turned into after the game of telephone.
Fellas one of these days we all have to figure out that there is no solid source except the kid himself. Kids making a big choice will change their minds back and forth 20 times before making a final decision and even coaches or family don't know for sure what the final decision will be in most cases. So "sources" in recruiting are just like these guys at the track that always have a source on who's going to win. The fact is I don't care if the owner and jockey themselves told me they are going to win we won't know until they go out there and beat the other horses, so it' s not a given. Point being, it's not unusual for many sources to be "right" at the time they heard what they heard but usually all they heard was the latest whim or throw away comment form a kid

I know it should not mean much,, but Drew is listed as a crystal ball expert on 247 Sports. Matt has big sources, but Drew is involved in researching this stuff every day. Drew's life is covering Kentucky sports for the news, Matt is involved in running a business, a radio, and a tv show.
I would say his source is probably within the team as he relates well with these young guns. Maybe even Diallo
His sources are very good. Hes heard this info from Johnnie Walker, Jim Bean AND Jack Daniels. Incredible amount of inside info. Rumor is Morgan, who is a Captain, is also agreeing. But fwiw I heard Captain Crunch has him to Texas

I think Fox was probably the one who told Matt Bamba wasn't coming. It was the day after that interview I believe, and ryan let it slip that he was there when he was told the info.
I feel better all over more than any place else knowing "The Sediment" has him in UK blue.
