Duke had chemistry problems so Coach K is trying to right the ship. Don't blame him at all.

This.

He is cutting bait with Allen and maybe Bolden.

Bringing in Duval might be replacing the devil you know with the devil you don't know as they say. Duval may be great, but he could be a headache.

Like I said, I feel like Duke will have Duval, Jackson, Kennard, Knox, and Carter. Trent off the bench. Without Bolden, they have no depth inside, though.

Ah, you're back. Took a while to get over the beatdown by a 3rd place SEC team huh?
You mean to say we lost a true road game to a Final 4 team? How terrible! :scream:

Something changed for the Cocks after they lost to Alabama in the SEC Tournament. The team that showed up in the NCAAs would have beaten U.K. in the regular season and won the SEC.

I'm not sure what Frank Martin did but he flipped a switch for the Gamecocks.

Before you make fun of me, remember that you lost to a UNC team that Duke beat by double digits just the week before in the ACC Tournament.

Duke was a championship team this year...we just got unlucky and screwed by the NCAA Committee who gave us a hard path.

Knox is not yours yet and that lineup has no rim protection. Thanks though..
Wendell Carter Jr. is 6"10, you think he can't protect the rim? We also have Antonio Vrankovic backing him up who should be able to provide us with quality spot minutes.

It's not like Mo Bamba is the only guy who is capable of protecting the rim next year in college basketball.

Kentucky was a championship team this year. Unlike Duke, we play five on five and get no favors from refs or the selection committee. Duke played most of a season with a player who should have been barred from participating in any further competition after his years of unsportsmanlike conduct.

To your credit, you acknowledge Frank Martin had a good team. He's a fantastic coach and seems like a great guy. We are happy to have him in the sec.

We had to play an elite Cocks team in their backyard in Greenville, SC with drunk UNC fans cheering against us after their miraculous win over Arkansas.

No one could have beaten Carolina that night.

Lol....right down the road from Durham! USC has no fan base! If you fanbase can't travel an hour & a half down the road then that's sad!

No one could have beaten Carolina that night. everyone has had to play in your backyard every year. If playing more than 60 miles from your campus is such a huge disadvantage maybe you should start giving every other team not names duke or I cheat more credit. We have to do this every year. Hard path, give me a break

Hope the off season gets worse and worse for you turds. Allen stays and ***** all over next year just to go out with a bang. Kennard leaves this year, Bolden leaves and you whiff on duval, knox and bamba.
Why anyone would go to play for splinter is beyond me. Capel reminds me of White Goodman at the end of dodgeball. After Cal flips the script on him and sends ratface to his grave it will send Capel into an eating frenzy like nothing ever seen before.

What a turd. Discredits our beat down of South Carolina, but credits Duke beating UNC.
UK beat down SCar in Rupp when PJ Dozier didn't play at the end of January.

If you don't think the Gamecock team that played in the NCAAs was markedly better than the one that UK played in Rupp 2 months beforehand, I don't know what to tell you.

I know what to tell you. You underachieved. Massively.

Your roster featured more 5* All-Americans than South Carolina has had in its entire history.

I know I could tell you a lot, but it wouldn't matter because you can't reason with a full fledged homer.

Now take that second round exit with your team full of 5 stars to a 7 seed SEC team that was 3rd or 4th in the league. Shine at sumbitch up real nice, and shove it up your candy ***.

Fox only played a few minutes for us that game because he was injured.

Carter is NOT a rim protector. Watched him play 5 games this year and don't recall him blocking one shot. He was the laziest player i saw in the tournament

Eh, there were at least a dozen teams better than Duke at the end of the season.

They weren't a title contender and they really didn't have that difficult if a path. And before that tournament everyone thought they had an easy path. It was Nova that got screwed in the top half of that bracket with top 5 Kenpom Florida as their 4 and Wisconsin as their 8 seed.

Dukes road was thought to be easy because Baylor and South Carolina were both falling apart going into the tourney and the regional final were back in MSG where Duke has a huge alumni base.

Duke underachieved badly this year. There are reasons for it, like injuries, coach K missing time and just lack of continuity. But they had 2 5* big men rotting on the bench that failed to improve at all. And they chose to enable Grayson Allen's team killing bs instead laying down the law like they should have.

So let me get this straight. USC is an elite team and no one especially Duke could have beaten them the night that Duke did not beat them. Are there any other teams that Duke could not beat that night? You know, other elite SEC schools?

I'm still trying to figure out how puke will make their plethora of front court guys happy. You have Trent, allen, kennard, Jackson and maybe duval. Basically you will have to tell one of allen or kennard thanks for all your hard work but since duval is better than you he will start. I don't see that going over so well. Someone will have to leave or transfer if they are hoping for duval

South Carolina just got a good draw. You guys and Florida to make the Final 4 was a cakewalk compared to most teams draw. They were pretty Decent all season. The committee gave you all a gift and you couldn't even get past them. You also lost to some bad teams this year. Va Tech, Cuse, NC State. God forbid you have to play 1 State away and your fans travel more than 50 miles.

South Carolina gained confidence after they beat Duke, who was touted to be elite.

Duke was a good team, but was nowhere as good as their talent level and "experts" would suggest.

Gary Trent Jr. is better than Hami Diallo and Wendell Carter Jr. is HS National Player of the Year aka he's better than PJ/Vandy/Richards.

If Allen or Kennard comes and Duval picks Duke, then we will be the Preseason #1 again.

....and K's magic back will start hurting about the 8th loss you have by end of February. K will curl up in a fetal ball on the floor and Reece, Bilas and Williams will sprain their lips kissing his *** on national TV.

The whole season will be credited to Wojo when you suckasses finish 21- 12 and lose to Tulsa in the round of 32.
