I noticed there were times that Gonzaga stayed in between the player with the ball and the basket. Why not just let him shoot unimpeded? Only a coward tries to make the other team score less points.

I think there were many like you that automatically placed them in the same category as Gonzaga teams of 10 years ago. The last 3 years, the only other team that has an Elite Eight, Sweet Sixteen and Final Four is UNC. They have been legit the past few years and he has a roster of talented veterans joined by a 5 star freshman. The perfect mix to win it all.
