Gonna have our work cut out next week...

[bigblue_07_rivals]

Ucla is tough

[Jazzycat]

Yep...if the Cats can beat UCLA, they have to get back up for the Heels. Hoping that the Bulldogs knock the academic fraud school off on Friday....

[yabbadabbadoo_rivals213851]

Butler could very well beat North Carolina

[kyrx]

Cincy looks pretty tough, too, at least in the 1st 30 min.

But bring them on, whoever. Reminds me of when we beat OSU and UNC that year with Jorts, Knight, etc. Bring them on.

[caneintally]

Eh whatever I got faith in my team. If you play defense like we have in this 13 games streak we win as UCLA aint stopping us , hell they aint stopping anyone , just out scoring them.

[Tannerdad]

UCLA is Final 4 threat. Have been all year. They look great tonight.

Not sure we have enough for them but let's get it on.

[TheDude73]

Fine with me. I like having to look forward to another weekend in the NCAAT. Bring 'em.

[TNCatfanforever]

UCLA played a perfect game in Rupp. We scored 93 but played no D. Our Defense is improved. I look for Cal to play a slower tempo

[Snarks]

I'm afraid we dont have the offense to keep up with them unless Monk gets hot.

[Dallas-Wild]

Won't be easy, let's see what happens.

I like our team.

[Wildcat9878]

Let's play ball boys!!!

[willyclyde]

I like the way we're playing too. It will be a hell of a game.

[ala_kat2]

UCLA has so many weapons and a great facilitator in Lonzo Ball. It'll take an epic effort to beat them.

I don't know about that. We're best when we run. The question for me is will the Brims play zone?

[Wildcatfan66]

I'm looking forward to the rematch. This kind of feels like 2014 again.(even tho we started with a better seed) As long as we play a good game, I'll be fine whatever. Today has been fun. Just gotta enjoy the ride.

[mash_24]

Will be interesting. Hope the Memphis site gives us an advantage. Have to play better than we have so far.

[JoeBeeHall]

Who does LAmar pick ?

[Mikey Likes It]

We better work on pick and roll defense again

The 2014 run about gave me a heart attack but there were lots of great games in it!

[caneintally]

We are much more then Monk but our offense against at team like UCLA should flourish . The worst defensive team we have played in a while.

[king of cali]

What? UCLA played far from a perfect game, but they did play their game. UK is really gonna have to step it up on offense. Saying "our defense is improved" isn't gonna be enough against a team that can score from all 5 positions.

[LordEgg_rivals16573]

I'm betting they don't want to play us. By the way isn't their coach going to Indiana? A weeks worth of that talk will Be nice.

[jb1010]

I actually feel pretty good about this game. We have improved a lot defensively and its hard to beat a good team twice - should have home crowd for this one.

[caneintally]

LOL they are a 3 seed who came in 3rd place in thier own conference and only lost 4 due to play a horrible horrible schedule. We are a the better team. If we play well we win . Such hyperbole . They beat us when we couldnt guard a door . Now our D is top 10ish . D wins titles as tourney games arent 95-90 usually . They are 68-65 .

[bookerfan66]

We will have to play a great game but I know we have it in us.This team has become tough and are used to close games and won't be scared.I still like our chances.

[marshalfan]

They are all rough in the sweet 16 unless you are a very special team. There are no very special teams this year

[JBHolmesfan]

I'm afraid we dont have the offense to keep up with them unless Monk gets hot.

UC put up 67 on them. UC couldn't average 50 points in a walk thru. UCLA is a great team. We can beat them.

[deplion_rivals116063]

UCLA could easily have been a one seed.

We'll have to play much better D than we did in the first matchup and still hit our shots. We are due for a big game though.

I think we find a way yet again.

[akaukswoosh]

Ucla is tough

Everybody is tough at this point.

[TheDude73]

More confident in beating UCLA than I was about Wichita St., and we beat WSU. So I'm good with Friday night's whipping of UCLA.

[The_Catfather]

Their size will give us major problems. Wouldn't mind seeing Cal work on some zone this week.

We'll have a great crowd advantage at least. Guess that's one thing in this bracket that worked out in our favor.

[EmCats3]

This has the makings of an instant classic. Bring em on, the type of game you have to win in March. I like my team

[ukalumni00]

We are Fn KY. Bring them on.

[loublue22_rivals308424]

Probably 3 of the best 5 remaining teams in our region. What a surprise.

[sluggercatfan]

Ucla is tough

So very good offensively and as much as I think his daddy is a jerk, the Ball kid can play.

[UKWildcats#8]

I actually feel pretty good about this game. We have improved a lot defensively and its hard to beat a good team twice - should have home crowd for this one.

Sadly the same logic will work against us if we play UNC.

[The_Answer1313_rivals]

Thing is cincy had a great defense and ucla ran right through them.

They are going to score on us. We just have to keep up.

[fisherscat]

Gonna be a war. USC had em beat in the p12 tourney and lost by 2. Arizona beat them handily a night later.

Tonight Cincy didnt have the guard play. If we guard the 3 better than Cincy and Kent State then I like our chances.

[Bluesnky]

Their size will give us major problems. Wouldn't mind seeing Cal work on some zone this week.

Worst idea ever.

[fisherscat]

Cincy got manhandled against SMU. Their D was overrated. Regardless it should be a fun game.
