How about the Bogut debut for the Cavs? 58 seconds seconds into his first action, Fractured Tibia ---> out for the season. That's awful.

Broke the previous record established by krazykats.

-Worshipped Todd Day. Hated Thurman, but have always said he was one of Top 5 most 'feared' players -- in that I thought every shot he took was going in. (most did). Calbert Cheaney was right there with him, although Mash still got jobbed on that POY.

I get pissed of the tease of 65-70 then back to 40's. But the real reason is the constant rise and decline in temp's literally has my sinus/allergies overloaded. I literally haven't felt 100% in over a month.

@B.B.d.K. , have they set a date for the South Park Invitational yet? Fun tournament...we're playing if I don't have something going on that weekend. They've moved it around the past few years and I couldn't play last year.

Was watching 40 min of hell last night on SEC Network. 1991 UNLV ran Arkansas off the floor in Barnhill Arena in a #1 vs # 2 Matchup.

After a thunderous and 1 dunk Larry Johnson ran by the Razorback bench and shouted to Richardson "YOU BETTA GO GET U SOME MEN"

July 14 (shootout), 15, 16.

Helluva competitive field, apparently.

May need your help in a mem/guest or some other random event at some point. :sunglasses:

Watching Old Row and Barstool. We did some dumb stuff but was jumping off roofs a thing back in the day or is this new?
If nobody goes off a roof through a table and it isnt posted on snapchat, then the party sucked.

We always had people casually hanging out on the roof, but I dont recall anyone willingly leaping off of it.

Bogut's sitch reminds me of the first time I was in the starting lineup for the Dayton Greendevils. Junior year, we were playing Frankfort at our place. During pregame intros, I was announced first so I got to burst through the paper hoop.

I was beyond jacked up. I was beyond ready. Then the opening tip happened.

They got the tip and we open up in man to man. I'm denying the PG the ball. He races toward the ball and makes a quick cut to get open. I plant my foot to cut with him. My foot sticks. My left knee hyperextends and I'm in the back with ice bags on it with :17 gone off the clock.

It wasn't too serious. I even tried to play some later in that game. I think I missed the next game. But my coach decided I was too fired up at the onset and would be the 6th man forever.

Had to unfollow Old Row. I'm all for some random college memories and fun thoughts, but **** was getting way too nostalgic & depressing seeing it 85 times per day.

This week's Spring Break theme was the kicker. :weary:

I always liked The Gunslinger, LaZelle Durden. That was before UC mattered and I started hating them.

Damnit. Lex City Championship is that weekend, too.
They are putting Tates Creek back in the rotation this year, btw. So, TC, Gay Brewer then Kearney. A shame they have now gone to just a 3 day event. Loved the idea of a winner wining it on 4 very different golf course.

You've declined your last 7 invitations to my mem/guests, and never once invited me to any of yours. Pretty simple, imo.

The Nicholasville City Golf Championship is High Point-Lone Oak-Connemara. I think the winner gets a sixer of Kentucky Ale.

Favorite week of the year right here. Monday delivered. SoCon and MAAC were terrific championship games, especially the MAAC with both teams just launching bombs in overtime. I don't think either team got a defensive stop until the final possession.

I singularly blame Corey Beck for scoring going down in college basketball for 20 years after he graduated. "I'm going to grab, hold and slap my man for 35 seconds" isn't defense but it became defense after Corey Beck played.

But now Alex Dillard was just the coolest. He was definitely on my "that's going in" list like BBdK talked about with Calbert Cheaney, and I'm pretty sure he was 35 when he played at Arkansas.

Top of my "that's going in" list is obviously Chris Lofton since it almost always did go in with him, and then probably Francisco Garcia.

I may have told this story before, but Dametri Hill once applied for the assistant coaching job at Centre and almost got it. I think he didn't get the job because Greg Mason realized I would fanboy around Da Meat Hook like Chris Farley did to Paul McCartney on the the Chris Farley Show and no work would ever get done. "You remember...remember when you were with the Gators? That was awesome."

In the last month, a bunch of Flying Illini ballgames have been uploaded to YouTube and GOOD LORD THEY WERE SO AWESOME. Seriously, Illinois should be that good, or close to that good, every year.

For real, why has Illinois sucked for 10 years in a row?

Never played in the Louisville Metro, but a bunch of our guys play -- sounds fun. Guess it's at Seneca/Iroquois/?
