"Could you make a case for the UK to be a 1- sure. Sure. Sure ya can, what do you think?. The committee liked it at a 1 or a high 2 worst case scenario they liked it at a high 2. That's the bottom line. But look here now there's other teams too. You gotta look at them other teams now too and some of them teams got a right to play, they absolutely got a right to play as a good seed. Look at some of them wins those teams got. So I told them we can play at a 5 seed. We can make that work. I liked us at the 5 seed in the west. Love it out west."

WS, very sorry to hear about your father. Really puts a lot of other problems into perspective.

I don't expect to make it to Nashville this weekend, thus ending my 22 year SEC Tourney streak. I'm disappointed, but life happens. First one in 1995 is still (and presumably always will be) the best.

Goes without saying that this pales in comparison to losing a family member, but looks as though we are putting our dog to sleep this week. She's nearly 15 and has been the only pet my wife has really ever had. The dog's diet has always been pretty restricted, so at least there's been a little joy in seeing her tear up ice cream and hamburgers for the first time over the last day or so.

I could use a good tourney run this year.

So if we are the #1 2 seed we have no chance of getting shipped out West paired with Gonzaga as the #1 because instead of a S Curve it's all about georgraphy. So instead we get to play closer to home and get paired up with Carolina?

Unless the committee pulls a surprise......yes. Only possibility(remote) for a 2 in the west is if Gonzaga gets beat in the conference tourney.

Lunardi and chief look forward to Sunday because after that they get to start building their 2018 bracket. Though I'm sure Lunardi dabbles with that on the side as a hobby.

Second year in a row to miss. Hopefully will start making it again in the future.

- Figuring out where the top seeds are going is common fvcking sense.

- It's close...but I might go Whataburger > In N Out...tough call.

- Chief, you watching the SECT games anywhere?

- I like Dallas/Plano. Traffic sucks, but it's a cool area. Looking forward to getting a little time to experience the area more.

- 2 seed, chill.

Just at my place. Have 7v7 games on Friday night then headed to Kentucky on Saturday. Have to listen on radio.

If there's one thing we've learned from this season it's that you definitely say with confidence how seeding will play our because none of the top teams will unexpectedly lose over the course of a week.

Thankfully this year's SECT was declared "not cool" seems like the tickets and hotels are more available. Hopefully the same for the bars.

In N Out is better in CA vs TX.

Went to St. Louis last weekend...that provel cheezy goodness of Imo's is just unreal. Brought home an extra pie for the next day. Lol...that sucker was gone by the time we got home.

* Bonzo is in. Pope is out.

* Family friend is hopefully going to build my pergola. He is a contractor who has remodeled a couple of my sibling's houses. Might have him finish the basement, too.

I am not doing it myself because I have a fairly nice house and I don't want it to look like ****. I built a killer gun rack in shop class back in '87 though.

* 73 is a must go next year. I've never been to St. Louis without him.

* Wife wants me to take her to see Bruno Mars in September in Columbus. I'll probably cave.

* SEC tournament will be Fox time.

* Off to the gym to get more beautiful.

Addison has practically every restaurant known to man in it. Not sure if it is still the case but a bar called Austin Ave in Plano is where a lot of UK fans watch games.

Bruno is extremely talented and apparently puts on a great concert. We aren't taking about Brantley Gilbert or a Eric Church. Actual talent.

Had to go to Bruno Mars with the wife for her birthday a few years back. Can confirm. Little dude puts on a good show and has actual musical talent.

What are the chances Wichita State is the 10 seed in our region setting up a possibly 2nd round rematch in Indy. Pretty damn good IMO.

There will be 15 other teams in our region. About half of them will be pretty damned good. There's about six teams in the country that if they play their best game and we play our best game we still lose. There will be at least one of those teams in our bracket. Maybe two. The ****** teams will be at home watching on TV.

Watched part of The Last Dragon tonight and I'm wondering if that movie coined the term "Nigga please". I think it may have.

Posting this because of the fun stream of responses that followed. If I had to go with just one, it would probably be Lou Roe.

Staying in Athens for business and ran across a guy at the bar who is a Penn State grad who loves Notre Dame. It was too easy... so I let all the rape stuff slide. He said it was a consensus among those who he fraternizes that CAL CHEATS. OK, guy. Smile and drink. People *rly* hate us and it makes me glad.

Glad Bonzo is IN for Nashville. Hope he finds some dope *** divorcee on Bumble and plows the **** out of it. He's a solid drinking buddy and I wish him nothing but the best. Think DC needs to happen for him sooner than later because I'm sick of hearing about how great Georgetown area is. COST OF LIVING THO.

Sick of the extree early GYERO debates back and forth about seeding. Who rly gives a F? We can't control one MF thing (except playing to win) so let's wait until Sunday to ***** - K?

I think I speak for most on here but Jaime/Anth are absolutely wonderful people and my heart goes out to them. We rag on randos daily but you'll be hard pressed to find anyone kinder than those two. Prayers to all those affected.

Think you'll see a different SWIPER, NO SWIPING come 'Tourney Time'. Dude's been sandbagging it for the last month. Can't underestimate a 18 YO's ability to tune a ****** SEC slate/ape **** coach out in Feb. It's a ****** month, LBH. Let's tip the ball and go get it. March is our ****.
