Boston Herald guy said the Celtics aren't one of the teams the Kings have been talking to.

King's management: "We want 8 first round picks for DaMarcus Cousy!"

Spurs: "How about drafts rights to Ila Mazgojnich contingent upon his performance at the Albanian Summer Jam?"

Vlade: *puts L&M Red out on the office carpet* "Sounds good, boss!"

If you're Boston, and you let Cousins get away for whatever their equivalent to Buddy Hield and two 1sts is, that's inexcusable.

If you're the Kings and you trade Cousins for an aight 2 guard (something the Kings have had about 15 of in the past 5 years), that's inexcusable

What a steal. Give up Buddy Hield, Tyreke Evans, Langston Galloway, a 1st, and a 2nd for him. Surely they could've gotten more than that.

Evans is an expiring contract per radio. I'm sure Galloway, whoever that is, is also. So essentially Hield, two draft picks and a lot of cap space.

With this trade New Orleans has a good chance to get to the 8 seed in the West. What a first round series that would be against Golden State.

- Love both Cuz and Davis...not sure how that works out though. Could be great, and I hope it is...but it's an odd combo in this NBA. It's a guard dominated league, but rules can change when you have the two best bigs in the league.

- As someone who works in GOP politics and was just the state director for a US Senator, Jones can absolutely grab that seat. Mitch isn't going to retire from what I hear, but with age and eveything else...perfect time for a guy like Matt Jones to steal it.

- Jacksonville or Dallas?

- Comedy show recs?

- NO made out pretty damn well as long as Cuz resigns.

Yeah, it's a weird combo, especially at first glance. But while they each has the size and many of the skills of traditional NBA post players, both can also step out and hit midrange shots and even three-pointers. In that sense they're both far more versatile than many traditional NBA big guys. So it might work. They won't each be crowding the paint all the time.

I'd you do run, any and all embarrassing secrets you don't want to get out will. The little dust up with Fagan will seem very small. If and when things do come out, that's true, I'd just own it and laugh it off. News cycles tend to spin faster if the person in question isn't going full denial.

Ad you know, it isn't just Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell you will be running against. It's Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell you will be facing.

I guess what could help yout is whomever is at the top of the ticket. You'd need someone that will energize minorities to GOTV and hit that straight democratic ticket line.

I've been hoping someone would beat Mitch in a primary so we can get a true conservative in his seat.

That said, I couldn't vote for you from what I know now. Thst could change, but for now, I believe you to be more left that what I prefer. And, I know you are stubborn but having to caucus with the likes of Warren and Schumer will eventually wear on you. Especially if/when they start offering committee seats.

Good luck.

Lynn Bowden will be better than Randall Cobb.

From what I've been told they're expecting a Percy Harvin type, with more weapons around him than Cobb had(he had to do everything, we'll have guys to help Bowden). It's not his speed, but his change of direction that is other worldly. But yeah he's fast as f*ck too.

It feels like Stoops has turned the corner and is going to be able to be consistently pretty good. I hope so, at least.

"Is it true Briscoe is a ****."

Yes, yes it is.

I mean if you're even thinking about drafting Briscoe, your name is probably Danny Ainge, and you ultimately don't take him for personality reasons.

#thightats

The thought of Ainge seriously inquiring about Cousins is hilarious. I think Boston favs really wanted him because they starter rumors almost every year about Demarcus.

Man what a time to be alive in NO. To see those two guys play together...

Idk contract situations, but it's only a matter of couple-few years till main man Jimmy Wall is in The Big Easy, right?

I live in a city with an NBA team. They play about 2 miles from my front door, and I'm not sure I know one single person who even considers themselves a serious fan. Including one of my bffs that works for them. Seriously, they are completely irrelevant, and that's even with one of the 5ish best players in the league.

You are truly overestimating the importance of having a 17-win professional basketball team play in front of 394 fans every Tuesday night.

--- I am going to run against Mitch McConnell in 4 years and if I do, the two main driving factors in my desire to win are (1) to take out the most powerful politician this state has seen since Henry Clay and do so in a way that will defy the critics who believe it is impossible (everyone)...or if I lose have a damn good time trying, because if you are going to run for something, why not go at the King and (2) because of how mad it will make UKO...I actually don't know who he is, have never met him and have no idea his history. But he is that bad of an internet message board poster, so I feel like it will be worth it.

My condolences for your ego getting in the way of common sense. Grimes thought she had a shot...and thanks to the LHL saying it was a toss up the week before, the 56%-40% deficit was probably closer than it would have been.

You may want to pay attention...economy will be much better in 4 years than it was with your numb nut POTUS the last 8. There is a reason there were over 1000 dem offices lost in elections during Obama's 2 terms and your smiling *** kisser won't change that when things will have improved across the board. On the state level, throw in coal jobs returning and that will be icing on the cake.

Make me mad? Not hardly....can't wait to see you crumble in a most humbling manner. Surely you aren't that stupid...or maybe you are.

Wowzers -- PTI(pti)'s Pels just got interesting...that's one of the weirder/surprising trades I can ever remember. Two best bigs in the NBA (by a longshot) on the same team? Congrats, Ursch

NBA trades/draft is so dope.

-#1 in the World -- Where my DJ haters at? :sunglasses: Anth is dying to love him, but knows he can't b/c of how mean he's always been to he & I.

...I'm the anti-DJ. Played 54 holes this weekend and couldn't do better than a 40. Guess I need to get on board with the year-round golfing b/c I feel like Hamidou Diallo out there at the moment. Nice core group of 15 or so 0-4 golfers out there with a regular game who basically play until dark any time it's above 45, and are in mid-season form. Fun times though, pumped to finally play more than once every week or two consistently and see what happens.

-Smoked Paprika, a spice everyone should have and use often.

-Academy Sports is a pretty great store. No reason to ever enter a Dick's ever again, I don't suppose. (got my UA thermal for $30)

-I'm a Republican, of course -- and also completely embarrassed by UKO. Everything he posts about extreme libs (some of which I agree with) is the same obnoxious way he's acted for the last 8 years. Know yourself bub, and stop posting articles from Breitbart and other generic websites, good grief. Trump could shoot someone in the head on Live TV and UKO would have some stupid *** explanation or justification for it. Very weird that anyone can be like that.

-Have a bottle of the Willet Straight Rye -- that's some super spicy stuff, if you're into that.

-Got fitted for some running shoes to put in my closet by the dude Swag. Dude took a solid hour and basically gave me a seminar about running, how to run, and how to go from loathing running to being able to enjoy it, seems like a great guy; definitely passionate about his craft. After trying on virtually every shoe in the store...the Brooks (SAE) Ghost was far and away the best fit for me. Really didn't realize how different each and every shoe is/feels -- shoes, in general, just hurt my feet. Maybe this will help, or maybe it won't.

Goal is to simply be able to run 1-3 miles at some point without hating it, pretty much. 17thtime'scharm?

-Nice time hanging out with ABH this weekend, dude doesn't get down to Louisville near enough. Appreciate the phone call/text, it was a nice little surprise to the weekend. ([eyeroll])

- Davis, Cousins, and TJones. Pretty solid 3, 4, and 5 guys. Pelicans need to trade for Ulis or Knight.

- My kids watched about every single Dude Perfect video this weekend. I've only seen a handful of them (Stereotypes Golf and Basketball and a handful of others)...they are pretty awesome. Good dudes too...devout Christians...give to charity...know their audience is mostly kids.

Best part about the videos? We probably spent 3 hours yesterday perfecting our own Dude Perfect shots in the driveway.

"This is the 30 Yard Football Drop Bomb from the Telephone Pole Shot"

:100points::100points::100points::100points::100points:

"This is the Moon Shot from the Back of Dad's Truck 3 Point Shot"

:fire::fire::fire::fire::fire:

"This is the Drop Kick from Uncle Justin's Porch Shot"

Highly recommend doing this with your kids. And the celebrations when the shots actually go in are priceless. LOVE. It takes 15-20 tries...or more. But it's awesome when they work.

Sure the Pels are thrilled seeing Eric Gordon finally be healthy and blossom the moment he left NOLA.

Swag has been a south end staple since I can remember. Hartel family are really good people. Havent heard anyone with a bad experience.

Went out with a big group to a local joint called Ovenbird. Guy named Chris Hastings is the chef, made a name for himself on some of the cooking reality show contests a few years back. Great concept, small plates, family style, everything cooked over wood burning fire only- not even gas heat or range. Deviled eggs, shaved brussels, smashed beets, duck empanadas, braised goat, pig-belly, ceviche, roasted bone marrow, cinnamon churros with some kind of vanilla cream sauce ... All was excellent. We didnt order anything, the waitress basically asked if there was anything we wouldnt eat, and they let the chef build the menu. Highly recomend when you all are down here to watch the cats in the b-ham bowl next year.

No-way Jones stays around New Orleans for too much longer. Its a quick train ride down to NO, may be worth a trip when they have a couple home games.

Best perk of my gig is that we get spring break off... like the entire week. Have a lengthy list of home projects to tackle but Its going to be awesome. Just happend to be 1st week of the NCAAT, also.

Lexington this weekend. First game at Rupp in a couple of years.

I guess I'm a weirdo or whatever, but there's never been a single dining experience in my life in which I've known the Chef's name, or wanted to see his C.V.

I like a good meal, but clearly not on the level of some here.
Learn eating, you dullard lmao

Also, Matt - when you take on Mitch, beware of his powerful bite when you're trying to crack open his shell to get at the delicious turtle meat within. Mitch is slow, but he's steady and has won many a race in his time.
