I graduated with a finance degree at UK in 4 years and:

Never owned a laptop
Never owned a calculator
Only bought books if absolutely necessary (waited a few weeks to see)
1 six subject notebook per semester

This was 2000-2004.

- Crushed Proidgy back in 8th grade circa 92-93. Dial up message board. Guess it was considered in the interwebs but i didn't know it at the time.

- Hartung has added some nice woman weight, imo. Touch all this skin and bones crap.

- Legs are giving in some on running and bball. Noticing a big difference on stiffness and the amount of time it takes to warm up/get loose for the first time.

- The passing was on point last night but so was being ready to shoot and not thinking/just shoot mentality. Encouraging.

- Really enjoy seeing the Lil lassy's facial expressions and personality develop. She's starting to babble some. She's a feisty little one. Definitely lets it be known when she's not happy about something.

Not sure how one could get by in Gatton/Finance without a business calculator...? In fact, I'm going to go ahead and call that a blatant lie.

The rest, I can understand.

Was addicted to this in middle school on the ole dial-up -- was really my intro into the WWW and forum life...myself and KingCat ran that thread for a bit.
.

I would have taken you as more of a Katman 2000 fan.

How many students, if any, take notes on paper these days?
True now, of course. Early aughts Gatton there was always one jagoff that would have his 6" thick Thinkpad with that dumb little red dot "pointer" in the middle that took the first 10 min of class to rev up.

That guy was the real your a idiot and was treated as such.

Love me some Keith. Lately been watching about 2 episodes of Dateline on ID every night.

That show is like crack, only way more awesome and addictive.

Was a Wildcat Faithful regular before I ventured over to Cat Paw.

RIP, Mel.

My first forum was the old BBN Scout site with all those guys who went down with Mumme and Bassett. When I came over here there was still a link up top to the old UBB General Discussion board. I lurked that, but didn't post over there. I also lurked WCF but did not post there either.

I somehow have half a cent at the end of my Stamps.com balance. How does that happen? Anyone want to Superman III the USPS with me?

- Sitting around pool last week with friends on vacation and a few girls ordered a quesadilla. Both of them took a bite, then looked around and said it tasted really familiar but they couldn't place it. Buddy takes a bite, immediately screams "SPICY BEEF WRAP!" [laughing]

Good 30 minutes of nostalgic discussion there.

- Group project: 5th floor WT.

Actually trying to get work done and not just staring at/flirting with the ladies: quiet area 3rd floor overlooking the front entrance.

- Discovered this place in 2006 in a terribly depressing and boring lab research/job. 10 years. :flushed:

- Really, really, really would like to see the Cats play a game in the Northeast this March. Much needed.

- UK grad 2008, the only class that didn't have powerpoints and you actually had to take notes was Organic Chem I and II. Puke.
