- Ah ok didn't realize little man was going.First class last time to Hawaii was the ****.

There's never a bad time to go to San Diego, and if it were Sept-October I'd recommend somewhere in New England.

- Norway was fantastic, too. Really want to get back there in the next 5 years.

* Can't say Hawaii is on my list, for whatever reason. I'm all hooked on this Iceland idea, though. The ex used to obsess about Iceland, and I thought she was crazy. But a simple Google image search pretty much tells you all you need to know. It's like a different world there.

do it...you won't regret it at all. Fly on Iceland Air and they will allow you to spend a day or a few in Iceland if you plan on going to Europe as a final destination for no cost.

Get the kid to transfer to KY. MacGinnis is a senior next year, anyways.

Although I did wish he would have broken his foot when he kicked the GW FG on us.

Kickers aren't deemed very important, except when you really need one. Having a guaranteed 3 points inside the 30 yard line is a luxury that most coaches take for granted it seems. Except for coaches like Belichick...he's had 2 kickers in 15+ years.

* Scientology isn't really any different than other religions. In fact, it's the same, but hierarchy is just much more transparent.

Great point. For example, if you try to leave the Methodist Church, you are labeled a "suppressive person" and your family members will be forced to cut off all contact with you. They will also track you down and try to coerce you to return to the church afterwards. Also, if you talk about the Methodist Church publicly, they will perform surveillance on you take legal action against you. And people don't know this, but female members of the highest level of the Methodist Church are forced to get abortions if they get pregnant.

So yeah, Scientology is just like every other religion.

You've obviously never forgotten to bring a dish to a Methodist potluck. You're lucky if they even send you a thank you note afterward.

The only schools that ever lose accreditation are those fly by night, for profit, online disasters.

Even having your accreditation "potentially" stripped, is a pretty big embarrassment. What a weird place.

The too cool for school atheist who have a weird fascination with discrediting peoples religion arguably put more focus and attention on their stance, than most people involved in the actual religious affiliation.

anyone try the apple cider vinegar shots a couple times a day. Some supposed general health benefits but the taste is just awful.

Ironic you would say this but just started pouring some in a water bottle each day and it is unbearable to drink.

George did well on the flights to Jacksonville (both ~ 1 hour), but I feel like it was exhausting making sure he didn't ring the flight attendant call button, kick the seat in front of us, throw toys, etc. I think if he would have had his own seat it would have been :100points:. He liked sitting in the seat of anyone that got up to go to the bathroom.

My dorm roommate, an hour after meeting him, just as his parents leave from helping to move him in:

"So I'm really broken inside. My mother's going to hell."

*record-scratch sound inside my head, followed by a long string of silent expletives*

"Why do you say that? She seemed pretty nice."

"Because she's Methodist."

Yeah, we weren't talking by the end of that year. The day he moved out I got about 20 sympathy hugs from other people in the dorm for having to live with that *******.

A coworker with a 9 month old and 2 year old was just telling me about her upcoming trip to Australia and the entire time I'm thinking she is insane for taking the trip with those kids.

Tried the apple cider vinegar thing about 4 years ago. Just couldn't hack it. Didn't last a week. I can't really think of anything I've ever ingested that was any more awful than that.

I wouldn't take my double three year old tornado of terror on a 30 min flight in the cargo space of a UPS jet.

But I'm a courteous person and want to subject the general public to their heathen behavior as little as possible. I would say another year and maybe...

As it stands, we go as far with kids as the minivan will take us.

As much of an ahole as I am, I really can't get mad at parents when their baby acts up on a flight. It sucks ***, but you know damn well....

- those people are doing everything they can
- there's really nothing they can do
- they feel 100x more awful about the inconvenience and noise than you do

So, just suck it up and deal. Slap on some Beats. Bury your head in the flight magazine. Whatevs.

The only time a kid has ever bothered me is when the parents aren't trying, letting him kick my chair for 3 hours, etc. Other than that it's fine for them to fly. Now, 4+ hour flights for a 2-4 year old? I personally don't want to deal with that.

Only time I was ever annoyed by someone else's kid was coming back from Montreal into Laguardia. The Mom just tried to ignore them herself the whole flight. GD New Yawkers.

I believe he just posts ignorant crap like this to fill space, versus actually believing it.

And if a celebrity had a public breakup with a non denominational Christian mega church, then produced a 12-part tv show documenting their criticism and ridiculing their beliefs....

...your reaction would be, what?

The underlying beliefs, sanctimony, nuances, traditions, indoctrination, fairy tales = pretty similar amongst all religions and denominations. Just because someone's religion is different than yours doesn't make it any less weird.
