Monk is vanilla off the bounce. His handle is not great and his creativity is worse. That's probably why he had a rep for a midrange game. Not good enough dribbling to get to the rim consistently.

The problem with having an extremely talented Freshman class is that they occasional play like Freshmen. Too many silly mistakes today.
We joke about it, but we NEED shooters. Driving and athleticism is awesome but if you can't shoot then we're going to continue to lose to teams like this when are defense sucks.
2011 we went to the FF with Lamb, Knight, Miller, and Co. 2012 we won a natty with Lamb and Miller. 2014 we were runner up with Aaron Harrison playing insane. 2015 we go to a FF with Booker and Aaron Harrison.
This year Monk needs to looks to shoot more. We need plays set up for him to shoot. We need more from Mulder (not sure we isn't getting a crack today). One of Gabriel or Willis has to step up.
If all we can do is drive and dunk/lay up we will continue to lose. If we continue to play lazy defense and give up boards we get dominated.

Yeah I'd say close to 25 is accurate. We are nowhere near 1 when we play like pussies
You can replace Humphries with pretty much anybody, especially Briscoe and Fox, in that sentence.
