How the f*ck do our kids cramp every game? In the 100 different ******* coaches on staff, we can't find one to make sure these ******** hydrate before a football game?

Boom had 4 or 5 carries after going off. One was for about 15-20 yards where he went off looking at his arm brace.

Johnson isn't any faster/more athletic than Towles or Barker, which I've said all year. Really disappointing for the typical black/can't throw QB.

I never thought I'd see a worse QB than Whitlow, but Johnson is, as much as it pains me to say it given the job he's done given his limitations and kinda kid he is.

Rooting for him, but he's just pretty terrible. Hope Gunnar is putting in that work...b/c it will be a real shame if we return next season w/ all these experienced weapons/playmakers without a QB, yet again. #GetWellDrew

All systems failure in Red Zone today, wtf is this.

Johnson is the worst passer I've ever seen. He seriously misses by 10-20 yards on any throw with pressure, at least give them a chance to drop it again.

At least he has a deep ball, not that we'll catch it but it feels much less hopeless than trotting Max Smith, Whitlow, Morgan Newton, or last year's version of Patty Ice.

....but yeah we have got to get Conrad the ball.

Matt Jones on the postgame show (paraphrased): "I think Stephen Johnson's ability to run has opened the offense up more than if Barker was in there."

[eyeroll]
That's not far fetched at all. If Barker was back there throwing it all over the place to receivers who can't catch- this team could be on real bad shape.

Having to replace Barker probably lead to the reliance on Snell and Boom. Johnson isn't a better quarterback but he may be better for the situation we have.

Or maybe you continue to be a run first team but only ask your QB to make safe throws. Perhaps mix in a play action every now and again. Put him in a position to be successful.

Having a QB that literally cannot throw is extremely hard on your offense. That's why we run for 400 yards and dont win.
