This isn't just best collection of individuals. This is the best college team you can put together BASED ENTIRELY on their UK performance. You don't have to go by position, but you don't want all posts and no PGs. Also- defense matters.
My squad:
Tyler Ulis- if I didn't have a 3 who can shoot in MKG, I may have taken Wall, but Ulis can handle the ball, knock down the open shots and most importantly get the ball to his talented teammates; also considered Brandon Knight for his offensive explosiveness
Doron Lamb- chose him over Murray because he's a better defender and more clutch; I think he and Ulis could contain dribble penetration and also provide enough punch on the perimeter
Anthony Davis- arguably the best player to ever play at UK; plus, I'd open things up for he and Towns a little and let them score in more ways
Karl-Anthony Towns- by March he was a monster; chose him over Cousins because I feel he's a tad more versatile
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist- you need a guy who'll do all the little things and he's a defensive ace

I think it's a little early to assume nothing else will happen. They got hit with 4 Level 1 violations. The NOA goes into detail specifically naming players and recruits who received impermissible benefits. The possibility of retroactive ineligibility is still on the table. And Level 1 is an indicator of the highest level of impermissible benefits.

Was anxious to post a team in response to Chad's, but I honestly don't know what I would change. I MIGHT take Knight over Lamb, but other than that I think they're no-brainers, which is hard to believe considering the talent that Cal has brought through here.
The most surprising thing to me in regards to the NCAA is that Mitch hasn't tried to turn Cal in for something in effort to spare Stoops.

Since we're on the topic of college basketball, I'll tell you what I do miss- how unique jerseys were in the 80s. Even a team like Houston had the unique lines going down the side of their jerseys. Georgetown had the unique colors and font. Mizzou had that big ol' M. Syracuse had the script. Etc. Etc.
