That's the high school basketball coaches uniform, of course you're for it.
Hate the look but unfortunately I'm about comfort and I'm not really meeting with people outside of the company often so I wear khakis and a work polo most days. If I have outside meetings I throw on a button up.
Ahhhh..... The timeless and classic "Radio Shack" look. Only complete with belt from The Buckle and plastic, square toe pilgrim shoes. Huge in Ohio during the millennium era circa 1999-2008 yet only complete with LA Looks hair gel bangs & a puka shell necklace.
Unless you're a bum I'd recommend slacks and a nice pressed oxford, Clark. Never know who you might run into, not unlike sportsball games.

SAE is one of those '50s TV dads who sits in his parlor wearing a sweater over a buttondown and some slacks with his legs crossed.
I only have to get dressed for work, on average, about 1-2 days/week. And given our climate down south, my standard apparel is shorts, flip flops, and a t-shirt. I pretty much wear this 250+ days a year now.

Now it's a "chapter" in the history of college basketball, to be embraced and strategically navigated, as opposed to a "cheap exploitation" of an ill-considered rule.
