I'm sure the Katz question was approved beforehand. In fact, probably encouraged. It was a controlled environment with a friendly reporter. Might as well get it out of the way to say you have answered and move on.

I would've been fine with it if he got the offense right.

Obligatory "Hillary would be loved if she had a penis."

In fact she probably would have been an astronaut and an Olympian too. Face it, she's done more with zero penises than Trump lovers could dream of.

Technically correct, but she totally rode Bill's balls to get to where she is.

- The new scoreboard should be named "CAN WE PLEASE STOP FORCING A NAME/NICKNAME ON EVERY TEAM/OBJECT/PLAYER/SEASON THAT HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS PROGRAM ITS A REALLY STUPID THING WE KEEP DOING"... prolly a bit wordy.

- LEX 18's Jill Szwed... I can't figure out my level of attraction for her. Kinda has the PTA treasurer who likes to cut loose with a second margarita vibe but other times appears to have altered some of her grandmothers clothes and wears them to save money. A tough one for me.

She's got a little Bobbi Starr in her.

I like thrifty as much as the next guy, but you lost me at grandmother's altered clothes.

Maybe I'm unleashing my inner Billy Joe Wildcat who enjoyed last year but never really thought they'd go far and knew their limitations combined with a severe hangover from 14-15 but,,..

Have one of those intangible feelings that tells me I'm going to absolutely worship this team. Going to be a FUN season.

Still think we're a versatile 3 away from where we want to be. Not sure who can step up into that role, especially on Defense. Willis definitely fits the bill on Offense, as he will stretch the floor, but I see Cal using him more as a small 4 unfortunately. Need a Gilchrist/Miller/Liggins type.

-Thinking about this team:

*Starting 5: Briscoe, Fox, Monk, Willis?, Bam
*In love with Monk, that dude can be NPOY if he wants. Just don't, and I I don't think he will, turn into Goodwin.
*I guess Cal is going to force feed us Gabriel on the wing. Not a fan.
*Brad with a smooth little stroke.
*Briscoe, do that in games. If so.. watch the f*ck out.
*Team has sneaky experience -> Briscoe, I-Zack, Hawkins, Willis that hopefully will help with that early season schedule.

-Tailgate turned into a [cheers]:cool2: which was kind of surprising. The B$Proofs we're crunk old school style. I like it.

-Schooled Ben on some old school NES games. The stuff they have now is almost too good. Pretty stoked for that emulator to come out.

-Feel kind of bad for that Ken guy from last night. You could tell he was a nervous wreck. Now he's and internet sensation. Oh well. Also, so awesome that a huge fly kept harassing Hillary.

-Nice little ride yesterday. [winking]

i had to search her on twitter. Saw a video. No thanks. She has weird hair, and she talks like a meteorologist from an SNL skit.

Nice weekend trip. I'm not much of a travelball but I love Denver. I mean if you love sunshine, crafties, beautiful lassies, etc. it hits all the marks. Went to the GABF Friday night with a group of 12 guys- about 5 hours in the convention center sampling crafties followed by more crafties and a burrito. Spent Saturday going to different breweries starting with breakfast at Denver Beer Co., then lunch, then more. Shew wee. Finished up with a 2 am trip to voodoo donuts... to get my kids t shirts.

Didn't see Jamal Murray.

Only followed the Cats on twitter. Doesn't sound like I missed much.

Bengals- ugh

Election- ugh ugh

I have a feeling Mulder is going to be more than a victory cigar this season. I doubt he averages more than 8-10 minutes per game, but I think he will provide us with some much needed outside shooting in spots now that he has a year under his belt.

-The reason for bringing Mark back will be the sophomore class. Couple of those guys are studs in the making. Kind of resigned myself to this and I guess I'm ok with it. If we can just find someone to deliver the ball to our receivers it would be nice. May have to sacrifice Eliot though, I don't know how you keep him at this point. Stoops needs to keep play calling.

-Mulder was actually needed last year and averaged like 3 minutes a game. Yeah, I don't see that changing. Hopefully we're all wrong. We can certainly use another shooter off the bench but he's probably 10th on the depth chart.

I think you have to make an argument that Toronto may just have one of the best playoff baseball atmospheres. That place goes nuts and on TV it looks like you can fit most of Toronto in that stadium. I'll pull for Cleveland to get them bc of my buddy Llama- but props to the Canucks for their lunacy- and because this video still gets me

I actually think Mulder couldve had a bigger role on last years team than this year.

Can't really get excited about practice shooting, but the defense, athletic freakishness, etc points to a GOOD season.

I think its hilarious that sports books take bets on things like the debate. I mean i know you can bet on anything, but the visual of people watching and waiting on the edge of their seats to see if one of the candidates says the p-word is just amazing.

Ken Bone pulled out that disposable camera and snapped what seemed like a random picture of the emptying venue... mercy.

Got word that my dissertation was nominated for "Outstanding Dissertation of the Year" for the university. There is a nice cash prize and some good national recognition for it, but being realistic- I cant possibly win as its up against researchers on the hard sciences that are curing disease and inventing ****. Criticizing federal policy on financial spending and advocating ways to create realistic college affordability isnt quite as sexy.

Once you put aside the fact that this is what our country has come to, a cot damn reality tv show, that debate was entertaining.

Hillary and the mods came out guns blazing looking for the early knockout. To his credit, Donald prepared this time around and imo soundly won that debate. Don't stand toe to toe with him. Can't wait for round 3.

Still think she wins in November, short of some new bombshell. Donald gave himself a chance again last night, but he still has a lot of ground to gain.

* Okay, real talk --> when the F is Drew Barker coming back? Johnson has done an admirable job, and I'm glad we've gotten to see his...ummmm...."potential," but we need all the resources we can dig up. 2 very winnable games after a bye week would be a great time for Barker to get healthy.

* Spent some serious quality time with my pup yesterday on his 11th birthday. I'll occasionally get all sappy and emotional about the little guy. That's a long life and we've been thru a lot together. 77 in dog years, and still going strong.

* Mark Stoops:

- he really should avoid ever mentioning the fans at all. he's just on too thin ice to even bring it up
- you've also got to be a thin-skinned idiot to get offended by his comments saturday night. so congrats to those of you who were suckered in

* Seems like the same thing happens every year -- the SEC looks much more daunting pre-season than it inevitably becomes as the year plays out. The next two games are very winnable, as is Georgia. This team really could go .500 or better in the SEC. Crazy.

* I've been 70,000 STRONG ALL IN on the presidential race this year. What a fantastic display of ridiculousness, and last night really took it to a whole new level. Gloves came off. Rape allegations. One low blow after another. If there's one thing this year has proven -- it's the politics is a **** show of epic proportions. So, a hearty thank you to both of these completely idiotic candidates.

* Washington is getting zero love nationally. While your Louisvillephiles were soiling yourselves over the thought of a 2-loss Cardinal entry in the playoff, the Huskies are undefeated, and have absolutely destroyed #7 Stanford and Oregon and back-to-back weeks. They weren't on CoolCat's automatic list of 4 teams, though. So that sucks.

* Have a buddy that works for the Sugar Bowl, and got to sit in on the mock bowl selection committee last week. He's gotten to do the same for the mock NCAA selection as well. Probably the only dude I know who has a better job than me. His worn out joke as a Sugar Bowl employee --> "I do a lot more than people think......I actually have to work the day before the Sugar Bowl, too."

* Participated in my first Canadian Thanksgiving last night. Hope everyone celebrated accordingly.

-Meh, it was incredibly poor timing by Mark. Why go negative after a SEC win? Not even mad about what he said but just amazed at the timing. Leave UK football fan alone.

-Solid fam weekend. Fall Festival Saturday for pumpkins, pony rides, etc., Newport Aquarium yesterday to see the Mermaids. Little one absolutely loved both. Perhaps my favorite "Dad" thing for now is when she's completely zonked out from having too much fun and I get to carry her up the stairs to bed. #whywedothis

-Got to watch the Cats at Tin Roof Saturday. Drank a ton of Miller Lites. Walked over to Gerstles for a few more then crushed a slice at DiOrio's and went home. In bed by 12:30 or so. Few Advil. Woke up with a slight headache but nothing too awful. I'll take that all/air.

-I was tickled F'n pink with the win Saturday. Stoops' comments were stupid, but whatever. Just win ballgames, bub.

-Got a real shot against State. Pretty pumped for it, tbh.

-An upset of UofL Thanksgiving weekend would be the greatest win in UK football history, even eclipsing the fake National Championship game we won. Not happening, of course, but I daydream about it.

-Wilco's "A Ghost is Born" remains one of my favorite albums for some reason. Not even a hipster, either. Just a great album.

-Watched a little of the basketball practice last night. I mean, boner soup all around, but I'm still a little hurt or something and a bit afraid that I've got some commitment issues with Wildcats Basketball. I will get through it, though.

-Louisville chili FTW.
