I've never had Hunts' pizza. If it is worse than Papa John's it must be genuinely atrocious. I could smear catsup on cardboard and be close to Papa John's, at least the variety they sell on the East Coast.

Chalk me up for another person who's never had Hunt's. My personal pizza power rankings for Pulaski County are:

3. Mr. D's
2. Donatos
1. Mill Springs Pizza Express

A couple of times a year I'll get a supreme personal pan from either of the Pizza Huts here.

Just because it's from a gas station doesn't make it bad. The best fried chicken I have ever had is from a gas station. Better than any of the major chain restaurants by a landslide, even Bojangles.
I must agree. I love fried chicken. And the best in my hometown comes from a gas station. Soaks it in hotsauce and buttermilk. If you haven't tried, dont comment on it.

For anyone who has not had Hunts, it's not better than Papa Johns.

So if you hate Papa Johns, I don't see how you would like this pizza. But that's just my opinion.

If you have to soak it in anything other than what it's cooking in then it's not the best fried chicken

+1 for Mill Springs.

But it still isn't "great." Isn't a great pizza down here.

Maybe Mellow Mushroom has one. Haven't tried them enough.

You can get Hunts out of gas stations if that tells you anything.
You can tell who lives where.
I used to think eating gas station food odd at best. Then when you travel to the midwest and get BBQ, the best is always in a gas station.
Try Oklahoma Joes in Kansas City, KS. Gas station BBQ that is AMAZING.

I already know. Where I'm from dodges chicken (gas station) had the best fried wings anywhere.

But for the love of God, don't eat the sushi. Gas station sushi is a no go.

Best potato wedges in the world are at that Cannon Corner Marathon station in Richmond. Dip them in the ranch dressing. You're welcome.

When I'm going through Kentucky from Tennessee, I stop at the eddyville Wendy's. Anyone know what I'm talking about? That place is scary good. I stopped once and ever since I stop every time. Incredible. Not even close to an average Wendy's. Blew me away. And it's every damn time.

People seem strange though.

I can only eat potato wedges if they're fries right and aren't packed with 300 tons of Idaho. I like a nice balance of crispy, soft potato, and flavor. Hard to find one with the right balance. Usually must settle for baby taters.

You have to eat these to believe em. They don't even make sense.

I think Papa John's is fine, Mello Mushroom is good but very high priced. Old Chicago Pizza is very good as well. I have always been afraid to try gas station food other than a hot dog or two. Maybe I will start checking it out. I always thought that the chicken looks like it's been sitting for days in most places.

I'm in London. It'd be pretty cool to meet up sometime. I'm over there all the time.
