Also, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love are two of the worst defensive players in the league. Which is an issue. I know people point to them being out against GS last year, but it allowed Cleveland to muck things up defensively and be physical. Irving and Love simply aren't going to do that.

Curry's mouthpiece is pretty annoying. Bricksthough had a much better mouthpiece game before Cal stolt it away from him.

Lol, exactly.

If Draymond was an old retired vet, '73 would be worshipping him on here and lecturing us on how 'soft' everyone is today. Saying he's worse than Laimbeer. [laughing]

I think LeBron has a little something to say about that. Gonna be a great series, imo.

Cavs are playing better ball than anyone -- I think you can toss Golden State's 2 blowout wins this season out the window. My final prediction is that Michael Jordan gets his 7th.

If he doesn't, all the insecure Jordan worshippers are going to be severely butt-hurt no matter which team/star wins, so it's a win/win. [cheers]

I mean, the Cavs put up a hell of a fight against Golden State last year with just Lebron, Tristan Thompson, and a few warm bodies. I wouldn't pick against the Warriors, but I think this series has a good chance of going to 7.

All the players back then were WAY better than the players today. Surely we can agree on that, right?

Curry wouldn't get a shot off vs. Dennis Johnson.

Love watching Curry & Thompson & even though I can't stand his antics I respect the heck out of Green.

They way the Warriors constantly keep you off balance with supreme ball movement is amazing.

Gonna be a great Finals. Pulling for Lebron. Want him to win one for his hometown. It's even rehashed a million times but people who want to constantly compare him to Jordan are simpletons. His game is nothing like Jordan's. You could argue that he's more like Magic than Jordan. People need to learn to appreciate his passing skills and vision.

- New York was pretty great. Memorial Day weekend, flags flying, Fleet Week, mid-80’s… not bad.

-Shake Shack food = really good. Shake Shack milkshake/concretes that are half-melted by the time you get them = subpar.

-Every stereotype of ‘Yankee fan sitting in the bleachers’ is 100% true. Almost like a parody come to life.

-Saw a guy shoot up into his leg and leave the needle on the Subway. Bucket-list… check.

-Love the general simplicity and ease of flying in and out of LEX but baggage drop for the 6:00am flights out (NY, Atlanta) are always a disaster.

As I said, Green is the most annoying sports figure I can think of... I hate a team I would normally like because of it. Way out in front here folks. Hated that dude for year.

Also, not only are the Reds historically awful, I have no idea what they're trying to do to get better. Gon' be a long long process.

If Draymond played back in the 80s, 73 would be celebrating his "toughness," "attitude," etc.

Also, I'm not entirely sure Cleveland matches up well with Golden State. OKC bothered the Warriors because of their length. I don't think the Cavs offer that as a challenge.
If he played in the 80's he would get KO'ed every game.

O/U on what page the gorilla thread goes racist?

It's on page 2 now so I'll say 3.

I appreciate the giant argumentative leaps people take on social media. I mean, how can you justify the outrage over 1 dead gorilla when millions of innocent babies are killed via abortion every single day? Or the thousands of policeman who are ruthlessly murdered by criminals, AND NOBODY EVEN CARES?!! Or the tens of millions of starving African children who are slaughtered by genocidal maniacs? AND NOBODY SAYS ANYTHING ABOUT THIS!?!?

I'm just enjoying the sweet, sweet outrage- immersing myself in it, jumping in, taking a nice swim, drinking a few gulps, letting it become one with me.

Bill Laimbeer was a whiny, poseur ***** - and I actually liked the guy! To hold him up as some paragon of 80s toughness is absurd.

I say we honor the sacrifice and fry that f'n Gorilla up. It very well may be delicious....especially if smoked on the BGE.
People actually eat gorilla(bushmeat) all the time. Some says it's pretty good and kind of like deer. #joeroganknowledge

Durant does ***** a lot but who doesn't anymore? Literally EVERYONE screams about missed fouls all game every game. THATS what's annoying. I'm a big LeBron fan but he does it too.

Dr visits here(Key West @B.B.d.K. )are the worst. I just need a script refilled but hadn't been there in all of 6 months so the receptionist tells me they can't write another script without a visit, "it's against the law". Dropped a forceful FALSE on her, nevertheless, copay, wait an hour, get BP checked, "Mr Stephens, you're in great health. You don't need anything from us. He's your script." .

They won't do appts most anywhere because touching "island time" and no one shows up on time for anything. Told the physician, "I'll gladly pay the copay if you'll just give it to me and not make me wait next time." Told me yeah no problem(wanted to throw that in the receptionist face but obviously did not). Sorry about all that.

Oddly enough he and I were born in the same hospital in Maysville.
