Shew wee, telling the wife to calm down and chill out about (a) their child and (b) said child's education is a bold move.

I can say I have a 0% success rate in actually calming them down when I say that. Marcus dump gasoline on a fire.

I have always wanted to like Gottlieb but he is so damn stubborn and stupid about somethings. On Jones' podcast, he's again poo-poohing UK 2012 saying they couldn't shoot from the outside, and insinuating we were lucky Syracuse and UNC dealt with injuries and lost. Umm, we shot 39% as a team from three that year.

If not in person, I only communicate with my wife through BitMoji via iMessage.

My guy is dead-on and I can get away with anything.

I know he's been a bit polarizing during his time at UK, but I'm really happy for Alex Poythress and I hope the crowd blows the roof off of Rupp tomorrow for him.

I know he's as "frustrating" a player as anyone who has suited up here because of his potential. I get that. But to me, he has the perfect makeup of a guy who makes your program shine. I'm really pulling for that guy. He's one of my favorites.

Yep, perfectly normal way to communicate.

I assume we missed quite a bit of highlight material from Poythress bc of last years injury. Last year was his type of team- i think. He contributes without having to be a key component and still makes the occasional jaw dropping play.

Huge, huge Poythress fan. I'm going to miss the guy and hope he has a lot of success playing pro ball. But even if that doesn't pan out I have no doubt he'll be fine. Smart kid.

I'll remember his late game sequence against UL in the 2014 Sweet 16 forever. Dunk-->blocked Russ Smith layup-->swipe at Luuuuuuke that led to a turnover, offensive board with the tying and-1. After basically doing nothing up until that point in the game. Big time.

Yep. If we lose to them then they probably go back to back which would have been the worst thing ever.

I know it's silly, but that AP, a highly touted recruit with a damn UK basketball scholarship in tow, worked at Wendy's up and through his senior year of high school just really stuck with me. Then he crushed college, of course. The kid's awesome. He'll rake in whatever he decides to do after basketball.

He's always reminded me a lot of Darius Miller. Same type of kid. Same background.

Gave the lass a stern, but fair "I'm not your F'n maid," right before bedtime last night.

She loved it.
I once told my pregnant wife (with twins) that she was pregnant, not insane, so stop acting insane. It was a bad move by me, as they are really one in the same.

All the talk about great players and did things no one else could do and no mention of Dr. J ??? Plus he gets bonus points for delivering a stern right cross to the jaw of Larry Bird, so even if he was a scrub, he got points from me. He did some sick moves. The pics of Rucker Park when he played there said it all. Had brothers climbing trees, standing on buildings to get a glimpse. They knew he was going to electrify and put on a show. And he did. That fro with the converse , you knew he was a bad *** just by looks alone.
