He's the only one playing outside of Ulis....
We have several guys who'd struggle to score in an empty gym. No need to take out one who can.
You don't reward piss poor effort and Cal yanked him so he seems to believe the same. Murray can fill it up but he is a ball hog who doesn't look for anyone else even when he has 2 people on him when he is in "his zone".
I'd get offensive liability Briscoe out way before Murray. His FT attempts might as well count as turnovers at this point.

Your kidding right? He is exhausted because he is the only one playing with balls. His mistake was from being tired more then just weak like skal or poy or even briscoe missing 50 ft. You keep him in , he is all we have. Hell ulis passing up shots again. Just give it to murray and lose or win with him
Good games from Poy, Skal and Lee will come around as often as Halley's Comet. We'll live and die with guard play all year, may as well let Murray do his thing. I'd rather him shoot than anyone else aside from Ulis.

I would lose by 30 with players who bust their tails versus allowing freshmen run the show and only want to shoot the ball and not play defense or pass.
Cal needs to pull out the the cattle prod and every time Murray dribbles into a double team give him a slight correction until he figures it out. He and Skal just can't get it through their heads that in College they will take it from you if you stop and present the ball to the defense. This is not high school. Both can and will be very good but it's maddening to watch them make the same mistake over and over and over.

Would rather have Murray shoot being triple teamed than have Briscoe take a wide open shot from 10 feet.
Murray is our best scorer but when he goes through his selfish stage of the game he needs to be jerked and he was. I didn't say don't play him or don't put him back in. I said get him out of the game...just for a bit to calm him down.
