And then he tells us all we aren't as talented as the 09-10,11-12,14-15 teams. Oh really, you think? I didn't need an entire segment on Dick telling us all what we already knew. Vitale keeps talking about how this team isn't as good as previous ones, which incidentally did NOT win the NC. Well, DUH! Yes, this team has lots of room for improvement, but I am confident that it will improve. At times, THIS team shows flashes of brilliance. And, while it is a young team, we DO have some experience...Ulis, Willis, Lee, and Poythress. Those guys are not hamburger. Murray and Briscoe play above their years. I expect Skal, Humphries, and Wynyard to contribute a lot as they gain experience. This team is NOT burdened by the high expectations of last year's team, but I would NOT be surprised to see them hang another banner. Having THREE bona fied ball handlers on the floor at the same time is a recipe for success in the NCAAT. I don't recall us ever having a team that could do that, but we have lost to teams who did.
Yeah he was pretty ignorant today. He kept saying in that stupid *** new York accent "Oh yeah this team will win some games but they're nothing like some of the Cal teams" Basically saying we aren't a threat to get 9. Let me tell you something........DICK. We're the most talented team in all of college basketball and in a couple months when Skal's a totally different player and Ulis and Murray are knocking down shots more consistently. We will be the best damn team in the country whether you think so or not. Pft. Dummy.
