Braeden Davis took a 6-0 over Justin Cardini of Illinois in a 125-pound first round bout via a reversal and three-point tilt off of it. Cardini escaped to start the third for a 6-1 lead for the Nittany Lion. Davis added a takedown late in the third period and tilted for two to score an 11-1 major decision to move on.

Happened at states yesterday. Cunningham's kid had his guy pinned for sure but referee was no where close to being in position to see it.

Happened at states yesterday. Cunningham's kid had his guy pinned for sure but referee was no where close to being in position to see it.

I’ve seen a large amount of refs laying near the feet of the wrestlers when one has the other in a pinning combination. Feet flailing in his face and he’s at the opposite end of the action.

Mason Gibson won his Consolation Semi bout @ 133 in the PIAA AA States, and advances to the 3rd place match. He'll face Charlie Robson (Conwell-Egan) for 3rd place.
