And I had really started to believe in this team and that this was the year Kentucky football was going to be different and not embarrassing and then they have a game like this. They certainly had me fooled.

This would’ve been a much different game if you take back the “missed” PI call to end the half. What irks me is these commentators know this game set in stone, that’s why they’re talking like it’s been a blowout all game

That’s the downside of having a UK football fan as your coach. He also knows the history of us pissing the bed against UT and is more likely to have that in his head during the game and let it effect him.

7 wins is really good for a first year coach. Might even get 8 or 9 wins. It won’t get us into the playoffs but it’s sure as hell a lot better than what’ll happen in basketball this season.

Sucks man. When you have a potentially once in a life time chance (because who knows what tomorrow will bring) you do what you can to take it.

And it's happened to UK so many damn times now over the past 5 or 6 years. The bracket opens up or we have a chance to keep sole possession of 1st place or etc. It just hurts.

I'm all in on this team. I still feel like they could win the rest of the games and make the playoffs. But this game and conservative play calling is what a lot of people feared and expected to eventually happen. I hope the coaches and team can learn from this.

Don't think these comments are people giving up but just realizing this team could easily go 0-4 in this last stretch, each game is a toss up. This is a good team, but so are the ones we have to face.
