***** OFFICIAL JMU vs #23 Kentucky Game Thead *****

[*Fox2Monk*]

Year 3 of Pope experiment and it's a doozy already. Ooooof
And Moreno has to be the softest big in basketball. Not to mention he can't jump over a flat nickel.

He doesn’t close out on shooters, he gets more 3’s shot in his grill than most bigs should.

[sefus12]

I love that Moreno came back, but he is incredibly weak with the ball and has had several just unacceptable turnovers tonight. People talk about Hawthorne being too weak, but he doesn‘t have balls knocked out of his hands like Moreno does.

[Catastic5]

Missing a dunk, yeah it’s one of those kind of nights.

[MidseasonTweak]

Moreno is playing weak as ****.

Florida is going to end his career

[loublue22_rivals308424]

Moreno tips the inbound pass and Zoom just stands there

[katwest]

Nothing makes a coach madder than someone knocking the ball out of your hand from behind because you are not aware of where people are

[bbnkat02]

Butt Defense + Bizarre Lineup Combos + Butt Shot Selection = Tied with a mid mid-major at half.

The Pope Trinity.

[RunninRichie]

Moreno is playing weak as ****.

Florida is going to end his career

Most overrated UK player i’ve ever seen. Would be a solid backup center on most great UK teams. Just not explosive enough.

[*Fox2Monk*]

They’re just very good moving and passing to the corner. And, our guys need to quit leaving their big guy out front.

We are guarding them the same way. Luckily they missed because they get every shot they want.

[cat tat2]

This team is absolutely terrible defensively.

[Cliffhanger82]

Just not playing inspired ball …… smh

[bbnkat02]

Wilkins MUST be on the floor.

[MidseasonTweak]

Zoom willing us

[*Fox2Monk*]

There ya go Wilkins. You and Zoom drove and kick to Mom or lay it in.

[The_Answer1313_rivals]

KU is gonna get killed on Tuesday

[HolySmokes]

I’m pushing 50. In my lifetime we got the best players for most of Calipari and Pitino. That’s it. Our current recruiting is not significantly worse than our average.

Im not even talking about the stars beside their name and top recruiting classes. Which is nice to have those guys. Im talking about if these teams didnt have on separate jerseys you couldn't tell UK from James Madison.

[UKCowboys]

JMU is the better team

Good Lord

[Johnny_Jeepers]

Most overrated UK player i’ve ever seen. Would be a solid backup center on most great UK teams. Just not explosive enough.

There are literally insane people on here who think he's gonna be a lottery pick.

el oh el

[RunninRichie]

JMU just getting wide open looks, they’ll continue to be in this game until the end, because the 3 ball is wide open all day.

[Kingslayer07]

Diallo gets fkn closed and no call lol. Unreal.

[bbnkat02]

Zoom saving our ***.

[*Fox2Monk*]

Can’t watch the game… what’s going on here?

We don’t guard anyone, I mean this 5 foot white dude just layed in it against Morneo. No resistance.

[Catastic5]

We can’t get any distance from this team. Whenever we score, they score.

[Cliffhanger82]

Good grief

[BigRedMachineBigBlueNation]

Found how to watch but I’m not sure I want to

[MidseasonTweak]

JMU now getting in the paint at will

[Bernie4blue]

Missing a dunk, yeah it’s one of those kind of nights.

Even missing a dunk is an improvement over a soft layup attempt. Ths team needs aggressiveness and assertiveness, but they take on Pope's personality.

[Beatle Bum]

“ mouth breathers” I know an old UL fan that uses that term on a regular basis

It’s been known for years that Runnie is a Card.

[*Fox2Monk*]

I don't know, UK fans might need a lot of help from Jack Daniels this weekend. I hope not, but not looking great right now.

I have all the faith in Stein. Definitely hate playing UT at all especially on the road but I have faith in Stein and that team to figure out a way to win!

[RunninRichie]

You got me bro. How did you crack the code?

[BigRedMachineBigBlueNation]

Pope needs to focus on defense next practice

[bbnkat02]

We can’t get any distance from this team. Whenever we score, they score.

It's called a shootout- when both teams suck at D

[Madhuvan]

like a fart in the wind, you’ll be gone

[darkshadesofblue]

Too slow footed on defense. Getting blown by against JMU guys

[Catastic5]

Nothing can make me hate the football team right now. I don’t care if we lose out, that still means we went 7-5; that’s freaking awesome.

[Johnny_Jeepers]

I don't know how we're supposed to beat JMU since they have Brandon Lee.

[Beatle Bum]

There are literally insane people on here who think he's gonna be a lottery pick.

el oh el

^^ Not a UK fan

(It was ESPN who put Moreno in next year’s lottery)

[OGtruebluewildcat]

If Zoom becomes a reliable bucket the dynamics of this team change dramatically.

[megablue]

The defense that Tennessee played on Moncilivic in the NCAA (2-9) will be the kind of MTM pressure he will receive by every team in the conference.

[Cliffhanger82]

Feeling a bad outcome tomorrow in the giant cheese puff bowl
