Lazy me, just caught up on all the matches this morning. The boys looked good that early round. Levi's defense against the young Russian was just awesome to see. RBY with a great last minute win. Trent and Spencer looked great as well. Looking forward to the medal matches, and yeah Green is going to get another chance, that guy he wrestled isn't losing.
You can tell if there was yelling, walking on the mat and throwing a brick! Was Manning coaching Green?
Levi wins 3-3 into the finals tomorrow at 8am ET he will have Iran
Levi with the 3-3 criteria win! What a grinder of a match.
Absolute brawl. Going to be some sore heads tomorrow.
Levi always when the chips are down!
Damn Spencer! Was in big trouble, didn’t panic and gets the pin!
Spencer was in deep trouble, then pins his guy.
I was already thinking: "Oh well, bronze for Spencer". Then he magically gets the pin! Clutch.
RBY wins his semi, so the Spencer Lee vs RBY final. Epic.
Roman avenged his loss to the world champ last year. Looked patient and ready to shine when opportunity arrived. Spencer might be too much for him but so proud of that dude!
And with Mexican Nick Lee in the corner
StOp PoStInG rEsUlTs! I wAnT tO rEaD a ThReAd AbOuT tHe MaTcHeS wItHoUt AnYoNe PoStiNg ScOrEs!
Not too bad a day for kids from Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania is having quite a tournament.
#secession?

Hidlay is tough. If it wasn’t for AB, he could have been maybe a 2 or 3 time champ
Spencer
. Good thing they didn’t let them up like his coach was asking. Team race should be in good shape if we take care of bronze matches here, so I’ll be rooting for RBY most likely. Not sorry.

Snyder - Gold
Dake, Haines, RBY going for gold
Blaze and Zain wrestling for bronze
Am I missing anything?

Trent needs to come join the NLWC. He lives 30 Minutes from State College. Be good for him and our Program.
The way the PA boys are wrestling, the Russians are going to talk about Pennsylvania the way we talk about Dagestan.
Green into repechage. 10 medals still in play.
OMG our NLWC is Truly INSANE ! Best Club in the World By Far. You want a World Title Come to Penn State
So we’ve got:
Bassett - Gold
Lee, Haines and Hidlay - going for gold
Zain - going for Bronze
3-4 golds would be silly.
And then tack on a few more medals from places an easy drive from Centre County (Snyder, Dake for sure; Blaze, Green possible medals)
Again, it’s not quite the Paris of the Plains (Stillwater), but Centre County is well-situated.
How did the high school kid do?
So crazy to say but maybe Mitch was dead serious about being a Penn State fan if Levi comes back this year
