Impressed with Haythorne. Playing hard nosed defense is very important to him getting minutes this year.

Everybody gushing over him, I keep looking at the +/- . He was at-6 which was the worse on the team and in all 3 games he’s been at the bottom.

I watched all three exhibitions. My take: Momcilovich as advertised. Certainly talented enough to be a key player on a championship team if surrounded with other talent. Williams pleasant surprise. He is currently out best guard which is both a compliment to him being better than expected but also a negative that Wilkins and Diallo are not as good as expected. Moreno is solid. Slightly better than last year but no signs of a huge jump in performance. Unfortunately Diallo has been terrible. Wilkins a little better but erratic. I hope I'm wrong but I see this team as a top 25 team, but not a top 15 team. We will make the NCAA tournament but not really threaten a Final Four or championship. I hope that's enough to end the Pope era, but I doubt it will be. I look for 3-4 more years of mediocrity.
He should, no reason to have all the negative in his head.
He makes millions, he should get criticism for poor play. Hope he is not getting threats against him.

I have never seen a good player in Hawthorne.

I would not have given Diallo or Wilkins those grades.
It was the same in the Texas Tech game, when he was on the floor Tech came back on Ky. Sure he’ll give some individual highlights but overall team performance isn’t good when he’s out there.

Pretty good player to be im his first year of college basketball, sure hes not what we are used to when it comes to freshman talent but that doesnt mean hes bad, especially when it comes to popes freshman hes in the upper tier of pope freshman lol
Agree. I'm also thinking hammering people on social media is not time well spent.
Anyone who engages with players or coaches on social media is a loser. 100%.
Maybe it depends on who he is out there with.
The whole team should do this. Just for general focus/mental health purposes
