I'd have love to seen what could've been last year. I don't think it was a title team, but before whatever the hell happened happened we had a chance at a deep run. Injuries didn't help either.
I want to see a Pope Season without major injuries. If we can do that and he's still throwing out God-awful lineups then I'll have my last question answered.

This. I like some of these pieces. That's why I want an injury free year. I want Pope to have a fair shake and show me exactly whether he can stay or if he needs to go.
I want to like Pope, he’s a good coach, but he’s gotta do better with recruiting and making UK basketball exciting/enticing for fans. I got more hyped for the Billy G years. Obviously Pope is better than him, but idk he’s just lame and off putting.
I'm sorry, but this is just not a reasonable take. TT was ranked 19th on the basis of Toppin being out until maybe mid-year. With Toppin they would have been ranked higher. And who are you claiming is TT's 2nd best player? Stillwell? Further, there are no Power 5 teams that UK "should have been able to blow out." That's not a realistic understanding of the college game.
We are far from the most talented team I have seen roll through Rupp. But we have some really nice pieces that could mold into a solid, fun team. We need a lot of injury luck, because we are painfully thin, but I like this bunch
This is one reason why I am glad Cal is gone. Because under Cal, the higher ranked player was promised the playing time, and the Williams of the team didn't get the minutes they deserved. Ulis in 2015> Harrison at point. SGA coming off the bench. Anybody over Skal. I could go on.

Its the same thing. Why didn't Tech have a player to come in and replace Toppin? I saw more crying for Toppin tonight on RR than I saw all of last season for our injuries
