I think UW’s defense was pretty solid coming into this game. I don’t know what happened to them in this game. They look more like USC’s defense tonight and against Iowa of all teams.

Was listening to a pod and they were mentioning which current starting qb in FBS (or maybe P4) has the most career interceptions. It was Josh Hoover still at 33 INTs, despite throwing 0 INTs this year. 15TDs and 0 INTs so far this year from one of his knocks at TCU being inopportune TOs. Quite an improvement under CC and Shanahan.
BYU win takes me one step closer. If ND takes care of business today, I’m headed to Provo next Saturday night.
They’re playing Stanford today…it should be a given lol. WF just mauled them by 50 some odd points. Should be a fun environment, BYU looked pretty physical against ISU last night….good test to see just how physical they can be with a physical team like ND.

They haven’t beaten anybody yet so that’s part of it. Mind you can sometimes say that for SEC teams too. These next two weeks with IU and Oregon will be their test.
IU is the same but becaue all CC and IU has done they get the benefit of the doubt unlike Nebraska as of yet.
Arizona might be dark horse in the B12. They have a loss to BYU though….14-3 on WVU

Don’t remember the exact wording, but someone posted something along the lines of imagine an Alabama team winning the national title and starting the next year 5-0 and being ranked #7. Regardless of schedule it would never happen in the SEC

Yes IU still doesn’t get respect on that level, that’s true. Thats actually something that came up on a couple different pods j heard this week. It came up on Big Noon today too.

I’ve said before maybe Rhule finally has chosen a decent staff that might allow them to take the next step. Holgorsen is a good solid OC and Rob Aurich (former Jason Eck asst) seems to be doing a solid job with the defense too.
Let’s see if they can keep it up.

It’s still early but if Nebraska is able to win this they should get a jump like UF did when they beat Ole Miss going from unranked or somewhere in the 20s to all the way into the top 10. Then of course Mizzou beat them down lol.
I heard this on a pod and it was also mentioned on Big Noon today. Some AP voter moved Miss St from 18 to 10 iirc after Alabama beat them by 32 points. It’s a joke how some of these people vote.

Man…. Beautiful new stadium and Northwestern is still having trouble drawing fans despite being off to a hard start.
It’s amazing how every coaching staff in the nation can make in-game adjustments/adjustments on the fly, both offensively and defensively….but ours….SMDH.

I was just thinking Nebraska hasn’t made any mistakes today with all their time consuming drives and amount of plays they’re running and then they throw an INT. But as mistakes go it’s not too bad, buried IU deep in their territory.

Would’ve been 48-49yd FG where they were if they’d dint get any extra yds. It was 2nd and long. Might have been some points but not a guarantee. As mistakes go I didn’t think it was too bad, it buried IU deep.
Neb should get good field position after the 3 and out. So they’re about 10 yds back from where they threw the INT so not bad after the mistake.
They buried them again with the punt. If this tracks like it has been going Nebraska should move into the top 25 even with a loss. They’ve looked good.
If they could’ve pushed the lead to 11, I even think that might have been enough to take IU down.
