I'd like to know the extent of Brown's injury. Kirk will speak on it tomorrow, but I'm curious if it's still lingering and if it's going to affect the way he plays.
Yes, I don’t put any stock into the depth chart. If Hank loses any time this week at practice, you gotta start Hecklinski.

Short week, I would like to think the coaching staff wouldn't have put them starting in the depth chart if they were not completely confident that these guys were not ready to go.

Kirk admitted that last week he half assed the depth chart and missed something/someone

You mean you hope if he plays the injury will allow him to connect with WIDE OPEN receivers? Interesting.

He should list Sullivan as QB1. Imagine the uproar here? 😂
I think Sullivan would do a fine job, but Hecklinski DESERVES to start. KF said the QB competition was "even," yet Brown has made every single start, and Heck didn't even take a single snap vs. ISU or Michigan, and he wouldn't have vs. OSU either--despite Brown's two turnovers--had Brown not been dinged. That's an interesting definition of "even competition."

do you think they should alternate every other snap, or weight snaps based on socioeconomic factors ? for true equity

No idea if the "turnover prone" comments of Heck had any validity or not. Or if they were just internet rumors. But obviously Hank is no better in that department.

So if it was potentially a separator between the 2 then we need to cross it off. It's a completely different game if Hank doesn't fumble on the 2nd play and throw the pick. And then missing wide open WRs most of the game were just huge drive killers

Hoping he can start piecing it together quick. Or give Heck a couple series to start the game. What's the worse that could happen? Ok he turns it over...so does Hank

Kirk also said this on the possibility of Hank starting on Friday: "We can't count on it, for sure. That'd be short-sighted."

KF also praised Heck for his preparation and how he played against tOSU, saying that "I think we have two good quarterbacks."
