That he's no interested in UK. Seems like he could be a UNC lean.
It's worth watching the Henry & Rosser recruitment. They are 1 & 2 in On3 and both being recruited by UNC, UK and Arkansas.
My sense is Cal is prioritizing Black, who Texas is going to throw a ton of money at. But I do think he'll want one of Henry or Rosser too.
Pope is desperate, as usual, and was just out in Vegas to watch Rosser/Henry. I think he's going to throw a giant bag at each to see who he can get.
Malone just lost instate 5* to UConn and he is going to want to keep instate Rosser. Henry also a Charlotte native.

I'm anything but a Duke/UNC fan and I'm much softer on Pope than a large portion of fans here. I'm trying to read the recruitment on this one, and if you don't think Pope is desperate, you're kidding yourself.

We will end up with 2-3 more guys with Hampton. Nasir isn’t a big miss. He’s a bully ball type guard that we already have in zoom. Pope was just talking to him yesterday. Nasir is Unc or Providence with uga still trying to buy him. The dominoes are falling and we will end up with a very good class.
People are blinded when it comes to mark pope. I’m telling you, he’s the worst thing to ever happen to Kentucky basketball! He’s not a top 50 coach! He’s never won anything at any level! Kentucky is now Indiana
With you - I don't think Anderson is that big a miss. Not sure who we're on outside of the top kids. Nosser or Henry would be gets, just not certain how seriously they're taking UK.
Also not sure if other schools are negatively recruiting against Pope at this point, maybe saying he could be out after this year.

BCG is a far better coach than Pope. And had accomplished far more before being hired here. He was a bad hire. But he was better than what we have now.

At this point is anyone here surprised when we don’t get a recruit? Hell at this point I don’t even pay attention to it. Don’t really care what he does because he can’t win anyways. We’re literally just waiting out the inevitable of him being fired after this year or next.

If you cannot recruit top players you won't be able to sustain any type of acceptable results that UK fans will accept.

I've been a Duke fan, a UNC fan, a Cal fan, now a UConn fan. When I'm a hoops enthusiast. Apparently can't talk about anyone that is doing it well as a model around here without the locals going tight.
You hard of reading I suppose. I said “leading” for someone means nothing these days. All these “insiders” just put out click bait stuff nonstop. We have led for tons of guys we didn’t get. Maybe not leading for ppl is a good thing this go around. Unc was leading for Jordan page until they weren’t. Duke was leading for Uvwo at one point. Tennessee and uga were leading for Nasir Anderson not long ago. It’s all just ways to get subscribers. Agents tell them things to get the money up as well.
