Official ‘26 PSU - Northwestern game thread

[m.knox]

Campbell is minutes away from losing this squad for the year. And the fans.... Poor bastard. It's like he had no idea what he was getting himself into.

[Calabrin]

Does Becht not know how to roll out?

[LionsAndBears]

Becht is panicking.

[CoolBean]

even the punter is bad

[cntblvitsbutter]

You can't even call that a punt.

[AvgUser]

I’m going to bed soon
I can’t stand it any longer

[Calabrin]

Rappleyea WIIIIIIIIIIIIDE open in the middle of the field.

[LionsAndBears]

I should have gone to work tonight.

[Ram20]

2 SIDELINE WARNINGS!

[DaytonRickster]

Love 3rd down throws short of the sticks

Yeah, what a bad call.

I’m not going to be able to watch Becht for 7 more weeks

They have to sit Becht. He's terrible abd can't see over the line. Manske can't be worse.

[JoePaMajorCFBrecord409Ws]

More awful decision-making by Becht - runs into pressure on 2nd Down and then throws inaccurate on 3rd (either wildly high to Rapp or underthrow to Sorrel).

[Psurock]

This qb cant see to run or pass over the line of scrimmage. When are you going to remove your qb from this game. Put in Alex, you have no offense two weeks in a row

[pennstatefan111]

This team is quitting

[Paws057]

Run defense is pure brilliance......

[Bwifan]

This team is really lacking talent and a couple of stars. Gonna be several years to rebuild this team if Campbell can do it

[cntblvitsbutter]

Don't feel like you need to bring more guys up to the LOS or anything.

[LionsAndBears]

I'm confused. NW got a sideline warning earlier but we get 5 yrds?

[KingLando]

2 SIDELINE WARNINGS!

Some low level assistant won't have a job
But we can't tackle so...

[Midnighter]

Absolutely a first class fvcking embarrassing performance. Fvcking embarrassing

‘Sent that man back to Iowa State…’

[DaytonRickster]

Manske time

Agree.

[G3624]

Two words:
PAT
KRAFT

[BobPSU92]

Sh|t across the board.

[CoolBean]

wow this Iowa st team is bad....cant wait to hear what MC going to say after the game

[WestSideLion]

NW is on pace for 400 yards rushing. 17-7 and even 24-7 undersells how lopsided this game has been.

[NittanyChris]

Ebel! WTF?!?!

[Knickslions69]

Campbell is minutes away from losing this squad for the year. And the fans.... Poor bastard. It's like he had no idea what he was getting himself into.

He’s got no talent. Lower level big 12 kids can’t compete in big 10. He’s got his work out for him

[OhioLion]

This is not B1G quality football from the Nittany Lions. I paid a big chunk for the white out and they will get boat raced there as well.
Butt ugly

[psuno1]

Why is PSU not selling out on the run and make Qb beat them with is arm?

[Calabrin]

D’s inability to stop the run is almost impressive.

[hapval8286]

On the bright side, our QB has 53 yds, NW QB has 41

[KingLando]

Honestly, didn't like 80% of the board or more say we weren't winning another game until Howard returns?
The run defense should be vilified but the rest isn't shocking

[JoeBot409]

Wow this team sucks. Time for QB change. Becht is no Purdy.

[yboby]

Was optimistic about Campbell's talent evaluation, but the fact that he thought Becht is better than Grunkemeyer really changes that for me.

[JoePaMajorCFBrecord409Ws]

This is what "Excellence" and "Championship Football" looks like - just ask Krafty The Clown if you don't believe me.

[cntblvitsbutter]

NW is on pace for 400 yards rushing. 17-7 and even 24-7 undersells how lopsided this game has been.

This reminds me of the MSU game where 2 backs had over 200 yeards rushing each.

USC is going to hang 50 on them.

[Anon1750875978]

People are way too angry about a game I think 85% us thought we'd lose

Lions are/were 7 pt favs.

[Psumatt85]

Agree.

Just caught up. Becht is not even the 40th qb in. College semi pro.

talent is not worth $30to $40

I think they all wish they were back in Ames

I can’t believe I’m saying that the talent gap is huge versus NW

[AvgUser]

even the punter is bad

The punter has been bad
He’s just continuing dismal performance.

[cntblvitsbutter]

Yup, blowout.
