Win the turnover battle. Win special teams. Flip the field
I was thinking this. Aside from Ferrie, our special teams play has been less than impressive. We have also had field position issues - drives starting inside our own 10 yard line in each of the last 3 games and have given the other team short fields several times - with bad special teams coverage and turnovers.

No turnovers.
Limit the holding penalties.
Run the ball effectively to get one on one coverage.
Separate and get explosive plays.
And lastly....do not have referees from Alabama!

Run the ball successfully
I don't think this is a good answer for this Bama team. I think there is a good chance we run the ball successfully and are generally successful on offense and lose in a shootout. I think their defensive injuries matter in the post-NIL/post-free transfer world in a way that they didn't pre-NIL and free transfer and that our offense is good enough to put up points. I think we are going to have to win the turnover battle or stop them from running on us and wearing our D down.

I disagree somewhat regarding needing the run to be successful. I think they will either try to stop the run with just the d-line and put everyone else in coverage, so our running game will need to be successful to force the LBs to stay near the line. OR, they will believe their CB and S are more athletic than our WR and put everyone at the line to give KT no time. If he can scramble and still make quick throws they are in a difficult spot. Their D has gotten confused on the field several times in their early games. I can see the speed play offense giving them trouble when that is happening.

I do agree that the game is probably more about whether our D can slow them down or force field goals and not TDs. I'm not very optimistic. Hopefully, we can force their QB to make mistakes from inexperience.

Keep 3rd down percentages where they are currently or maybe be a slight better. From what I've seen we convert 50% of our 3rd downs while holding opponents to 32% conversion rate.

Let me rephrase. I didn’t mean to majority run. I just meant if they are shutting down the run, I doubt we can successfully set up the pass.

Don't play scared and uptight.

No stupid drive extending penalties when our defense should be coming off the field.

No special team mistakes like a muffed punt return or give up a long return.

Win 3rd down.
